Maybe! I’m planning to just get my BS in smth health related In a 1 year period and take an accelerated ABSN 15 month at CSUN right after. We’d still all become RNs the same time then ? but thank you!

Wait I have a 3.93 GPA and it said my GPA wasn’t high enough .... do all people have higher than this?

Do they send out more than one round of communication emails?

I made a counseling phone appt to talk about my concerns. Def nor trying to throw anyone under the bus but knowing I followed all guidelines, it’s something I have to fight for. Hopefully someone Higher in the Dept can also go over my app with me just in case I did miss something but doubt it. Thank you everyone for your response/assistance!

I think it’s interesting that this applicant received a communication email although your scores are lower that mine. (My score= 9.35). Admissions replied to me saying that there hasn’t been talk about sending out more communication emails. Can anyone advice me what they would do in this situation? I believe it’s really unfair since CSULB only cares about scores for their admission process. Hoping this isn’t a race issue as well since I am Middle Eastern and not White (safe to assume by username?). Let me know!

Hi! So for Long Beach they specify that there must be a 30 day working day gap actually for the exam. I took it 3 times last year (Around 3 months apart and once this year). I have called and left a voicemail as well as emailed concerning the application too. Still waiting to hear back sadly

Ya the response was not helpful! I’m just conflicted bc someone with lower stats than me received the communication interview invitation which is unfair since they really just want to base this admissions on just the numbers. Is the communication email the only way to be admitted?

They said that yes they did send out communication activity email but that Apps are still currently under review... I'm not sure what to believe ?

By pending I mean like under review. So I use the self service too and it says that my app is still be reviewed by the dept. what does your say since you have received the com email?

My self service is still saying pending so maybe tomorrow they’re sending out a second batch hopefully!

My chem course was called chem30A which was an into class and so I didn’t feel like putting it to waste and so I had to take the next into called Chem30B to satisfy the one chem req. hope that clarifies!
