CSUEB fall 2014 RN applicant

Anyone else apply to cal state east bay/ CSUEB for fall 2014 term? From reading other threads on here and from attending informational meetings, they inform applicants around may :nailbiting:..... seems SOOOO long from now:banghead:. Have you applied to any other schools? Anyways waiting patiently here for May to come around. Any other people out there in the same boat as me? Anyone? ....Anyone? :nurse::unsure:

I'd rather not say what I got on the TEAS :sniff:lol .... I did pass though! My prereq GPA is 3.76

For the prereq GPA I have a 4.0. TEAS 96%

Hey Aspiring CSUEB Nursing students!

I was a avid user of this site when I was awaiting to find out about getting into CSUEB. To help you guys out, they will most likely let you know very, very end of May or even into June. They receive a ton of applications and so they usually don't finish processing them till beyond the date they state. Also, you will receive an email letting you know if you got in, for those who do not get in they will put some of you on a wait list. DO NOT be discouraged by being on the wait list. For my cohort, they literally went all the way through the 70 students they wait listed.

Hello! I have applied to CSUEB, SSU, and Samuel Merritt. My teas is a 86.7 and gpa is 3.76. I really hope that is competitive enough! Not a native applicant to any of those schools, but I do have volunteer hours.

Teas 94% GPA 3.5

I don't have any additional points (no language, health-work experience, CSUEB student)

I think they might also subtract points since I repeated a class :/

I got super excited today because I received a letter from CSUEB, but it was only for provisional acceptance into the pre-nursing program, which does not mean acceptance into the nursing program. Haha. Booooo.

I totally got excited too!!! Then I called the school and they said that they wont send any acceptances until May. So I guess we wait another month...yeah:nailbiting:

Was your guys' letter a packet (Manila size) accepting you into the university itself? Or a letter size specifically from the nursing dept ? Just curious because I got the same but from the school in general not nursing dept

It was from the university not the nursing department.

I received that provisional acceptance packet from the university in December. I wonder why they're mailing out more acceptances in April? Just a heads up, the nursing department sends their admission decisions via e-mail, and it's not uncommon for that special e-mail to end up in the spam folder. So when the time comes, keep your eyes on the junk mail as well!

Someone from CSUEB called my home number today and got disconnected. Not sure why they even have that number or why they were calling at 6:45pm. I have no idea which department they're from or if it's important lol.
