CSUEB fall 2013 acceptance

Anyone on the edge of your seat waiting for these letters to come ??? This was the only university I applied to so I'm startling to get anxious !!! ?

I'm really getting antsy I keep checking the website and re-reading to make sure it says last week of May because here we are Thursday morning and nothing yet , I'm sure it didn't help that Monday was a holiday. My guess is we will be held in suspense until tomorrow :( either way I'll be hitting the refresh button on my email every chance I get lol !

4.0 in science! Good lord, I don't know how you did it! O-chem killed me in ways that I didn't know I could be killed. (And the A- made me want to cry, lol.)

Yeah, not having any supplementals has been a huge worry for me. I actually do have a year of paid healthcare under my belt, but I wasn't able to track down my old boss, and everything I came up with online made it seem as though he was no longer practicing, so that really irked me, but it is what it is!

If we haven't heard anything by Friday, I don't know what I'll do with myself.

That's really too bad about the healthcare experience, it's like, what are the chances of that happening?!

But I guess it's best not to dwell on it.

As if you needed anymore stress anyway! Haha

Yeah, I definitely got lucky with o chem, for sure. Some major celebrating was done after that class was over with!

Sometimes the plus/minus grading frustrates me to no end, but sometimes it does work out in our favor, I guess. That B+ in English still haunts me sometimes, though! Lol

Hopefully today is THE day!

Lol, I got up extra early today....to basically do the same thing! Refresh, refresh, refresh.... repeat, and on and on, you know, just in case!!

It's going to be a long day!

Long 2 days because if doesn't happen today we still have ALL day tomorrow lol !!! Ugh the agony ( I'm probably being way over dramatic) lol ! Positive thinking is what I'm telling myself !!!

Wow, some of the stats on here are really amazing. You guys could get into med school and be doctors with that sort of gpa. I got a 94% on the TEAS and have a 3.78 Science/3.69 Total pre-req gpa. And like many of you, CSUEB is the only school I applied to. On the edge of my seat every morning while checking email since April hahaha.

I had obsessive dreams all last night that an e-mail came in saying that I was 10th on the waiting list. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to be happy because I figured 10th down the line would mean I was a shoo-in, but then I started to cry because I knew there'd be more waiting and uncertainty.

I kept waking up, and going, "Was that real?? Did that happen?!" only to remember that I was still lying in bed, and that it wasn't possible. Then I'd roll over, and slip right back into the same dream again. All. Night. Long.

Your stats are also fantastic! Before I found this website, I was feeling pretty good about my chances, but now, seeing that many of you have similar or better stats, I'm not so sure anymore.

It's crazy how competitive it has gotten.

I too wish everyone the best of luck and hopefully we will all be classmates come Fall!

Poor thing! I think that's it, the uncertainty and waiting, that really makes me go crazy. Plus the fact that the date keeps getting pushed back. The longer this thing gets drawn out, the worse it gets. It's mentally exhausting, to be honest.

It's like we've come so far, and to be let down now would just suck so bad.

But I am trying not to dwell on the what-ifs, and just trying to take it as it comes.

We got this!

I called them and they said the end of the day tomorrow they will send out the letters.

Thanks !!!! I knew we would be in suspense !!!! Thanks that helps but sucks that we don't get an email ! Snail mail means at least Tuesday we will get the letter :(
