My spouse applied for spring 2020 at CSUEB, his stats are 3.7 gpa, 85% TEAS, native, 3 years as EMT. Hope he gets in. Anyone else apply?

@czelI am located in Sacramento, almost 2 hours away with traffic. I will most likely relocate and am looking for places to live. Anybody have any recommendations?

Hey!! Have you tried looking through Craigslist? I just looked and there are some available rooms for rent. I would suggest Concord/Pleasant Hill area first because DVC (Diablo Valley College) is in that area and someone may be looking for a roommate. Then spread out to Martinez and Pittsburg. Walnut Creek might be more, but hopefully that helps.

@donna6250 No he didn’t:( so disappointed for him. He called and to find out why, they couldn’t give him any points for his 5 years as an EMT because of a missing signature. And couldn’t give him points as a native even though he took all his prerequisites at Bay Area community colleges because he has a bachelors degree from another country. If anyone has tips that helped your application I’d love to hear them. He’s going to apply again and to more schools. Congrats to everyone who got in, enjoy the ride. I loved my nursing school experience and hope you all do too ?

I got the admission email, but has anybody accepted their admission into the university? I logged into MCSUEB account and it says that my admission status is still in review? anybody else in the same boat? maybe it is a delayed response?

Aww!! I'm sorry! There was a post from a couple of years ago with more insite. (see below) Did he apply to the accelerated BSN program?

In addition, what I had were volunteer hours that were both healthcare and multi-cultural.

same boat as you. I am assuming that they are waiting for all who accept into the program before releasing university admission.

@Fong7Hi! I just sent you an email ?

Hey guys, so I am already a student at EB and the spring 2020 schedules just released. I was able to see some classes for Spring 2020 nursing if anyone was interested in what some of the schedule would/might look like for kids, or work accommodations like I am. There is only one class for each of these courses.

NURS310-Foundations of Professional Nursing- TU 8-940am

NURS314-Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing- TU 115-255pm

NURS312-Health Assessment - TH 8-940am

NURS316-Clinical Pathophysiology - TU TH 10am-1115am

**According to the Nursing school roadmap on the website for Semester 1 there are 4 other classes that I was not able to see. So, keep that in mind**

Thank you so much!! I also have work and kids so this is sooo helpful!!

Hi everyone,

I also was accepted to Spring 2020 in Concord! After opening the admission e-mail for only a moment, I must have accidently archived it or something because it immediately disappeared from my inbox, nowhere to be found. For a split second there I thought maybe I had literally imagined getting accepted to CSUEB. But I finally found it in some random folder in my account, no idea how that happened, then accepted immediately ?

So I'm hallucination-free and SO excited and nervous and grateful to be joining all of you in this journey together. I guess we'll maybe see each other at orientation on Dec. 17th?

Can you give some insight about what makes volunteer work count as multicultural? My sister is going to be applying next year and she's wondering how her volunteer work will count.
