CSUEB - Cal State East Bay Fall 2020

Thought I'd start at Fall 2020 thread for CSUEB to see if anyone else here is preparing to apply for Fall 2020 in Hayward.

I'm finishing up my pre-reqs this Fall and just signed up for the TEAS. Getting pretty excited as I feel like some of my hard work is starting to pay off and just wondered if anyone else is too. Here are some of my stats: science GPA 4.0, cumulative 3.97, local admin points and health hours are good.

I've never written a personal statement before which is now required, anyone have any tips? I want as many of those 20 points possible as I can manage!

Hello. I also applied for Fall 2020. Applying via NursingCAS in November seems like ages ago, comparing to applying to other programs right now haha. I had two classes in progress at the time, but I just now submitted my updated transcripts to Nursing CAS and CSUEB admissions.

Honestly, I do not know my calculated points. I know that I have all A's in sciences and pre-reqs, an 85.3 TEAS (=/), paid health experience, and I completed the personal statement. I am not a local student, no military, and no second language, so who knows. I'm going in blind. ?

I also applied for fall program 2020, 3.6+ Gpa, teas 84, local, second language, healthcare volunteer, no military. now waiting game is on, I heard program is very competitive. Fingercross!?

Congrats on Johns Hopkins! How did you find out about East Bay already? I thought the responses would come back on April 1st.

I haven't heard anything yet. No e-mail, no Horizon email or in the junk file.

I haven't heard anything either. I'm hoping they'll inform us this week. They notified 2019 Fall applicants on March 6 last year.

oooo and that was a Wednesday last year. I'm hoping they'll sound out notifications tomorrow then! haha wishful thinking.... ?

I called them yesterday. She said, within one or two week expecting to send notifications to all.
