CSUEB - Cal State East Bay Nursing BSN Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

Hi All,

I was curious to see who else applied for CSUEB for Spring 2019?

I'm curious to see how the transition to semesters and the specific campus for Spring/Fall may have changed applicant pools.

Best of luck to everyone who applied!

I calculated it an actually my points are about 95.8 but someone said they got in with like 92.5

What can happen if 2 applicants are close together in terms of points they will use who ever got the highest score on the science portion of the TEAS as their decision of who will get in

Futurerninthemakin - I'm sorry, that link should have worked. Try searching on FB for CSUEB Nursing Concord class of 2021.

I can also send an invite if you shoot me your email address.

Congrats on getting in!!

I still can't find it for some reason! Would you mind shooting an email? [email protected] (the email only has 1 R) Thank you ?

Yeah but to not even make the alternative list is kind of weird isn't it?

Also I understand that they check but with almost a 3 point difference why would they revert to that extra criteria for that kind of variation. I would understand if they were like .2 different but by 3 points? The points they are all looking at are probably in the high 90s

Yes I agree. Hmm that is concerning... They must have made an error. Did you take ALL of your prereqs at csueb.

Yes I took all of them there and had an A in every class. When I called and asked if there could be a mistake, she said there very well could be and to email the nursing department.

Hey guys, for those of you that accepted the universty did you pay the enrollment fee first? Because after I payed and tried to Accept my Admissions it says something like this:

All admitted students must accept their offer of admission to Cal State East Bay to secure their place in the entering class. If you are not yet admitted, check your Personal To Do List for items to submit or complete. For any further questions, please call the Office of Admission at (510) 885-3500.

Did anyone else get this? or After you pay the fee you can immediately accept admissions on the left tab?

Yes I got the same message. I'm going to call Monday to find out if I did the steps correctly.

Hey everyone, I have a quick question regarding accepting into CSUEB nursing program. So the deadline to accept into CSUEB is Nov 1 and the deadline for acceptance into the program is Nov 5. I still haven't heard back from some other CSU's Nursing programs that I've applied for and so I am at lost to what I am suppose to do in this time. Do I just accept CSUEB to secure my spot here and wait for other responses? How are you guys going about this issue because I'm pretty sure most people here applied to many CSU's besides this one.

Also did anyone get an email from CSUChico about how we have to accept school admissions in order to even be considered into their nursing application pool?

Hi there! So I got into CSUSM in September. And they gave me about two weeks to accept. I accepted it and paid the deposit because I knew EastBay was not coming out with their results until late oct/early nov. (CSUsm was tech. My plan b).

Unless you know that your other schools will be coming out with their admission letters before the 5th, then I would just accept the offer and pay the $110 deposit. Better to be safe than sorry!

Thanks for your quick feedback! :p

That's exactly what I did! CSU EB is my back up but I accepted and paid the deposit because it's either that or lose my spot completely.

Congratulations to those who got accepted! I accepted my offer as well. Does anyone know if other CSUs see the acceptance of admission to a different school and automatically rescind consideration for admission into their own school?
