Has anyone heard from CSUEB? I know emails are supposed to go out the first week of May. Today is the first day or the first week and I want them to go out now!!!
I am nauseous with tension, and certainly can't get through a week more of this.
LMC's lottery is supposed to be posted this evening, too. Something has got to give soon hair all my hair will fall out. Torture.
Anyone heard?
hi Julz16I received the same email like you did from the CSUEB nursing, and it is weird because I'm a full time student there, and took all pre-req there, but they said I didn't turn in my official transcript and the Teas results before the deadline. All the Teas I took at the CSUEB. Sound lke they are making up the reasons why I got rejected.
I am sorry Never2late. I would call for clarification. If you know that you did everything correctly and submitted documentation by the deadline, then there is obviously an issue that needs to be resolved. Perhaps they sent the wrong email out. There are too many that have gotten the same email.
Did you request a copy of your transcripts to be sent to the nursing dept? One thing about CSUEB is that they want two copies of your transcripts - one copy to go to Admission and Records and another copy to go to the Nursing Dept. I had some trouble with a set of my transcripts that were reportedly not received. I had to pay (again) to have another set sent. I noticed it was missing on the website, but I had to actually keep making calls to make sure everything was in order. I could have easily (and rightfully!) believed all my paperwork was in because I had requested it and paid for it. I was so afraid of exactly what happened in your case. They should probably put some sort of a warning on everything alerting students that THEY must make sure the university hasn't lost their documentation and that the student's file is complete. I have decided, if I ever go through any of this again, I am going to hand carry my documents and get receipts. So unfair!
I remember the whole transcript ordeal being a big mess as well. If you are finishing up any prerequisites you need to send them after the class is over and then you have to call and make sure they received them. I spent a lot paying for transcripts to be sent both to admissions and to the nursing program and I even paid for some rush transcripts. In the end, everything was received, but what an ordeal it was. I would call up the nursing program and ask what is missing, or if they sent the wrong email. It is very distressing to be in such suspense over admission only to have them send you a generic and vague email. The college needs to be more organized and together. It is not okay for them to "lose" transcripts or TEAS test results. Especially since you are paying for them. Good luck to you all.
Best regards,
Jean
My acceptance letter came today by postal mail. I was really expecting an email, but was beginning to think it might come by USPS. I was scared when I saw such a thin, regular-looking envelope, but it was all good. It would have been much easier to just wait once a day for the mail carrier, rather than all day long waiting for an email.
Now, just to make sure I pass O chem!
Good luck!
Wow, they decided to change things up and mail letters? I wish I had gotten one as I would have framed it. LOL. As you know, I have been pulling for you and I am so happy you have been accepted. I am told most people want the Hayward campus so it is highly likely you will get your choice. Did the letter mention what steps you need to take to select the campus?
With me, they just wanted and email response with my selection.
Again, congratulations. I hope you are out celebrating with your family.
All the best,
Jean

Thanks Jean, I have felt your support and infinite patience with me, you have been my life line more than you know! I owe you lunch.
I hope that most people want Hayward and there is room for me at the Concord campus. I just had to send an email with my preference and I think they will send me further instructions on the next steps (background check, drug screen, PE, etc.)
I will save my celebration for after the end of O chem - then I will really have something to celebrate!! Thanks for all your help!

Congratulations Hotflashn! Now you can go out and party! I'm sure you WILL pass OChem & make a great nurse . & thank you again for being such an encouragement for me in these hard times.
Oh, and Krista, I'm not sure if they send out the acceptance/rejection letters alphabetically. Hotflashn just got her acceptance letter, so I'm sure yours will be coming in the mail soon. I still cannot believe you didn't make it into Sac! That's ridiculous. You're smart and such a competitive candidate. & I'm taking Subramanian AGAIN for Ochem @ Solano. Big mistake.... :chuckle
Julianne, Don't worry im sure you will do awesome! I took it at Solano too... but last semester. I can't believe your taking Micro and OChem at the same time! Micro is kicking my butt lately... how are you doing in both classes?
I'm doing pretty well in Micro, I have like an 87.58% right now, but I'm trying to reach for that A. I'm worried about the lab final because I heard lots of people did well throughout the course but slipped because of that test. OChem is the one that's kicking MY butt right now! :chuckle I've been slacking off because I would only need OChem for CSU-EB, and I was hoping to get into SFSU (which didn't require it), and on top of that, I have to balance it with Micro, Poli Sci & Humanities :typing. I think I go a little psycho when registering for classes, I took Anatomy, Physio & Nutrition last semester and everyone just thinks I'm crazy. But this semester ain't no joke :chuckle
Thankfully this is the only class I've taken at a Solano, so at least it doesn't ruin my Napa transcript, hallelujah
