Hey everyone!
I know its a bit early but time flies fast and I pretty nervous so I'm sure other people are too. Is anyone applying to CSUCI this upcoming semester for fall 2019? Just wanted to make this so we can talk about goals, nerves, points, and ask questions! Also, if there are any current or past CSUCI nursing students...any advice? Hope to hear from u guys!
It isn't out of 80, there are over 100 questions. When you finish the exam you are given a score, not a percentage but yes, I see what you mean. I believe they convert it to a scale of 80 max but it isn't out of 80 questions. You'll just see a score and if it is over 68 then you are good!
Hello everyone!
I am a sophomore hoping to get in. I was told 32-33 points is the minimum, and 34-35 is golden.
I hope I get in this year, next year it will be harder to do so because they will be conducting interviews.
I heard that they’re changing a lot of aspects in the supplemental.
My points are:
Overall GPA: 3.77, 6 points. (Lol barley made it)
Pre-reqs GPA: 3.86, 10 points.
TEAS score: 9 points.
Enrolled as a CI student: 4 points.
Work experience as a caregiver for 200+ hours: 6 points.
Proficiency in another language: 4 points.
Academic Accommodation Member: 1 point.
That puts me at 40 points.
Hopefully all of my documents get accepted, I was told that sometimes they could be picky. ?

Hello!!
You sound like a perfect candidate, I don't doubt that youll get in with that score! I have 33 points and am super nervous that Im barely on the edge ?
I also had difficulty with the paperwork, I have volunteering hours and they made me resubmit all of my letters because they weren't detailed enough.
But I resubmitted and now my application says it has been reviewed. Now we just have to wait until the last week of March!!

oh no! yeah I remember that being there but it hasn't been on the supplemental criteria for months. I took the CLEP exam last week for Spanish and it wasn't too bad!! if you pass the CLEP, will you still be in the 20s?
