Hey everyone!
I know its a bit early but time flies fast and I pretty nervous so I'm sure other people are too. Is anyone applying to CSUCI this upcoming semester for fall 2019? Just wanted to make this so we can talk about goals, nerves, points, and ask questions! Also, if there are any current or past CSUCI nursing students...any advice? Hope to hear from u guys!
Hello!
Congrats to everyone who got in!
My name is Megan Peek and I'm a nursing student in CI's 2021 Cohort. I'd be happy to answer any questions you all may have! I've requested to join your Facebook group so you may reach me there when I'm accepted.
One thing I can tell you is last year the nursing staff didn't give us much information about what to expect or when things begin to happen until the orientation date during the summer. Even then information was limited.
Don't hesitate to reach out!
I have a question for everyone that got in--did any of you have a W on your transcript? I have one from a long time ago for a class that isn't a prerequisite for GE or Science. I am applying for spring 2020 and wondering if I even have a chance of getting in for that reason. thank you and congrats to all of you!

I made a CSUCI Spring 2020 page for those applying to the goleta campus!
Hi everyone! I don't think this forum is the right place for me to ask this, but I'm desperate to hear what opinions CI students have about the pre-nursing program! I'm currently a high school senior going through a dilemma about whether I should go to a CC to finish up pre-reqs before applying to some nursing school (save money, live close to home, easier classes ? and higher GPA), or if I should just stick to staying in CI for four years. Please tell me your guys's advice and insights on CSUCI for pre-nursing as well - were classes hard? manageable with volunteering/working? assignments easy to handle? professor reviews? I really want to take note and absorb any insights everyone has.. THANK YOU!
