  1. Thank you so much! Keep your chin up, golgi! The fact that you’re being active on here already shows that you truly care and have the dedication for nursing school. YOU GOT THIS and I also wish you the best!!???
  2. I’m local to the LA area and thankfully got accepted to CSULA’s program. It’s probably good that you haven’t heard anything yet, it likely means that you’re being considered for the the next round of acceptances! Good luck!?
  3. Check your guys’s CSUSB email! I’ve been anxiously checking my personal email all month last month and received nothing but information about attending orientations. I checked my CSUSB email this morning and found out that I got rejected two weeks ago, on 3/24 ?.
  4. Hi there! This is totally long overdue and I am hoping that you still check out this forum! Thank you so much for offering to take in questions from us potentially prospective students! How has the program been at Rio Hondo thus far? What does your weekly schedule look like these past semesters, and how are the five (or four?) semesters there broken up? Also, where do you guys have your clinicals? I have heard that the professors can be a bit harsh and are not really supportive, so I am a bit intimidated about going there in that sense. What has your personal experience been like with professors, fellow classmates, the clinical sites? I know that PCC has a concurrent program (not the same as the bridge program) partnership with APU wherein students can work on classes for their Bachelor's while they are working on their Associates. This means that they can obtain their BSN in I believe a month after getting there ADN. I was wondering if you knew that RHC has the same concurrent program with APU as well? Again, I really appreciate your input into this forum and being a helping hand for us!
  5. Hi everyone! I don't think this forum is the right place for me to ask this, but I'm desperate to hear what opinions CI students have about the pre-nursing program! I'm currently a high school senior going through a dilemma about whether I should go to a CC to finish up pre-reqs before applying to some nursing school (save money, live close to home, easier classes ? and higher GPA), or if I should just stick to staying in CI for four years. Please tell me your guys's advice and insights on CSUCI for pre-nursing as well - were classes hard? manageable with volunteering/working? assignments easy to handle? professor reviews? I really want to take note and absorb any insights everyone has.. THANK YOU!
