Hi everyone... I decided to make a thread for all of us Fall 2015 applicants at CSUCI. I'm kind of surprised no one has done so yet. If anyone wants to, please list your stats and your point total so we can see who CSUCI let's into the program and try to figure out what the cutoff is this year in terms of points. It will help students in the following years understand their chances of getting into the program as well.
Here's what I have:
Core GPA=4.0= 9points (I got a W in physio)
Overall GPA=4.0=6points
TEAS English and Reading Score=98th percentile=6points
TEAS Math Score=100 percent= 5 points
Resident of Ventura= 4points
Military= 4points
Volunteer Hours= >200= 3 points
Total= 37 points

Since we are getting the letter from the CSUCI nursing program this April 20th telling us if we get in or not, I believe that it would be helpful to post if we did get in or not along with the points we had. This will give us an idea if we have to do something for next years application. Also, it will be a lot of help for future applicants as well. Thank you.:)
I just got an email from CSUCI saying I didn't get in .... I thought that 37 points would be enough but I guess the applicant pool was much more competitive that I thought? Good luck to everyone else.
I guess non of us are in then because we all had less than 37 points. I haven't received any email but oh well. Got to try again for next semester. Good luck guys!
I assumed I didn't get in because of what runstohousebeats stated with 37 points. According to my count I had 35 points, but I wasn't sure. I got my email saying that I DID GET ACCEPTED!
.... I thought that 37 points would be enough but I guess the applicant pool was much more competitive that I thought? Good luck to everyone else.
