CSU Stanislaus Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey, Guys!

Is anyone else out there applying for admission to the pre-licensure program at Stan State for Fall 2018? (Deadline January 15th, 2018)

I went in and submitted mine yesterday... fingers crossed!

My TEAS score is 95.3%, science GPA 4.0, overall GPA 3.48, permanent resident of Stanislaus County, and I have 3 years of clinical experience as a phlebotomist.

What are your guys' stats/hopes/dreams/fears?

Best of luck to everyone,

Andrew

Thank you for the response! I never got an email or a letter with a username or password so I can't set up an account. I just emailed the school of nursing for help. Thanks again!

The username came from the university, so i'd email/call admissions as well. Did you apply to the university using the Cal Sate apply website? I just checked and I didn't get an email with the username, it came in the mail back in end of Jan/early Feb.

Thank you so much for the response @j_ssica! I am glad I am not the only one who is in the same situation. I totally agree with your thoughts though, I will pay the enrollment fee and wait it out. If the stats and official/final notifications do not come out by May 1st for CSUS I will accept the university admission as well and just wait until I hear from the nursing program. It is such a stress and hassle having to lose money along with the extensive wait but with the large number of applicants and how competitive each program is, it is almost expected. :/

Hi everyone!

I was also accepted to Stanislaus BSN program for the Fall 2018. I'm in the same situation, I'm planning on submitting my deposit but still waiting to hear back from another school. It's hard to just wait and think about what will happen, but I am highly considering attending Stanislaus State's program. I live near the Bay Area so I would most likely have to move closer to the university. Anybody else looking into housing near the campus?

For those who have submitted (emailed/faxed) their intent to enroll for the nursing program, was there any form of confirmation sent out? It seems like after I emailed it before April 13th, that was about it..I am still waiting for a response from another school but I am curious!

I haven't heard anything back. I submitted mine via email about a week before the deadline.

Does anyone else see "pending" under their application status when they log in to MyCSUStan? Also does anyone know where we can find our enrollment dates?

Congrats to everyone that got in! I'm #40 on the waitlist so my chances of getting in are slim :/ How many of you guys are waitlisted? Do you guys personally think I have a shot? I'm going to apply for Spring semester as well since this is my first time applying to Stanislaus.

Mine says admitted but I have not accepted and paid the enrollment fee yet.. I wonder when we will find out our registration dates to enroll in classes. I think the letter that was sent in the mail said that we need to enroll in 3 courses.

I also have another question, since we are all in the same cohort, wouldn't we all be enrolling in the same class, same time and professor?..

From your earlier post - I also saw that we have to enroll in three courses, which is why I checked the enrollment date. I'm assuming that the classes will be offered at multiple times but I could be wrong about that. I'd like to enroll as soon as possible so that I can start to plan a schedule out.

I checked and it says enrollment begins on April 30th. I also went on the school nursing page and clicked on catalog, it provides the Fall 2018 calendar.. I looked up the 3 courses we will be taking and if I am not wrong, we only have classes on Monday and Wednesday until clinicals begin!

For people who are in the waitlist like me, do you guys know when they will let us know if we are accept or not?
