CSU San Marcos ABSN Summer 2015

Hello Everyone! Just wanted to start a thread about the Summer 2015 Cohort for the ABSN program at CSU San Marcos. I looked at the previous Summer 2014 thread and they found out admission decisions on February 10! That is coming up soon!!! This can be a forum to discuss questions about the program, application stuff, or (if we all get into the program) we can discuss everything else that comes after getting accepted!! Thanks so much for your reply!! Well in that case I should probably have a high points score. I got an 85.3% on the TEAS (8 points), 3.75 CORE GPA (20 points), and I think around a 3.7 last 60 units GPA (9 points). So I should have around 37 points. How many did you have?

dbiggies- I retook it and got an 83% which gives me 31 or 32 points total. (3.91 last 60 units) and (3.42 pre-req GPA) i hope it'll get me in, I applied and sent in my transcripts Jan.19. I have no classes in progress or anything so I'm hoping I'll be considered for summer but with the amount of time it takes them to get things done over there i could be pushed to fall. I'd be fine with either though. When did you apply?

Hey all! I just got my Summer 2015 admission letter, and then posted my acceptance and intent to enroll yesterday. I'm so excited! I also saw it pop up on MyCSUSM before I got the actual email. I applied back in October, got my evaluation in December, and turned in my final transcript in late December, and I feel like I had to be a squeaky wheel and follow up with Extended Learning constantly in order to get them to do anything. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and good luck and hopefully I'll meet you all soon.

Lemoyne19, did you accept and paid the deposit through cashnet already? I'm having a hard time logging in.

Payneco, i sent in my application in oct, transcripts in nov and sent the updated transcripts earlier this month and got an evaluation this past week. Just keep following up on them. Good luck..

Congrats to you, too, dbiggies. I had trouble also. I ended up calling and they made me send in a screen shot of the error message I was getting, and when they couldn't figure it out they let me pay and accept the offer over the phone. The error I was getting occurred when I tried to click to make a payment. I'd call them if you're having trouble. I really hope the actual program is more organized than this whole admissions process has been!

What login info did you use? I couldn't get past the login.

Do you mean the log in for MyCSUSM? Or was there a log in for cash net to pay? If there was a log in for cash net, I never got that far because of the error message I kept getting.

Yeah, when I clicked make a payment, it sent me to cashnet login and I just used the mycsusm login and password but I kept getting error. I guess I'll call them then. Thanks!

In the past, I have had issues with those CashNet things. In the end the issue was resolved by using a credit card instead of a debit card, or vice versa. If you are using a debit card, try your credit card. You might have a positive result.
