Hey Everyone!!

The wait is driving me a little crazy, so I'd thought I'd start a thread for anyone else who is applying! I won't be finishing my last pre-reqs until end of December, so I'm probably way too late for the Spring cohort. Is anyone else in the same situation? Let me know! I'd love to talk to anyone applying/interested/already in the program :)

did anyone create a facebook page yet? Not sure what cohort we will be in tho.

We might be Cohort 19. The admission statistics says Fall 2013 was Cohort 17, so Spring 2014 must be Cohort 18, and we are Cohort 19.

Hello everyone! Regarding the deposit we submitted and seeing if it was processed or not. When you log onto myCSUSM click the student center tab. Scroll down to the bottom and look at the Admissions section. Under Status mine says, "submitted intent to enroll". You can click on that to read what it says- You have been conditionally admitted and we have received your Intent to Enroll and Enrollment Deposit (Enrollment Deposit was not required from those qualifying for a fee waiver at the time of application and from active duty/veteran applicants). Please read all communications from our campus regarding housing, orientation, assesment, etc. Also, please check your "To Do" list often to ensure that you are meeting all deadlines and submitting all necessary documentation.

Hopefully that helps! If not I would give them a call... they are going to love all of us so much by the time we start since we call them so often!

Where do I find the information regarding orientation, assessment, and to do list?

For those who were admitted, did you have to order and send your TEAS scores directly to the school? I uploaded a copy of my results to my application (new version). I am applying for Fall 2014 and submit my application last week. Also, I mailed all my transcripts last week. How long did it take for the school to review transcripts now that they have a new application process?

Congrats to everyone that got in! :up:

I didn't make it in with my 27 points so I was told if I didn't want to retake any classes, to retake my TEAS and that's the quickest way to boost my points. My application will be considered for Fall 2014 so at least I don't have to apply again.... Still waiting to hear back from other programs as well but in the meantime back to studying for me.

Hello nursejasr,

On your myCSUSM click on the 'student center' tab. Once you are on that screen the right hand side has a few sections- Holds, To Do List, etc. It will show if you have anything that needs to be completed. As far as orientation… I think they will email us with information about our orientations. I don't think we have to go to the general CSUSM orientation.

For those of you having trouble finding the facebook group, type in CSUSM ABSN TEMECULA COHORT 19 and click the Find all groups named "CSUSM ABSN TEMECULA COHORT 19" option.

nursejsr: I wasn't able to find the group either until I tried this: Type just "CSUSM ABSN" into the search bar, then at the bottom of the results that pop up, one should say "Find all groups named 'CSUSM ABSN'" Click on that, then you should find our cohort in there! =)
