CSU Long Beach BSN Spring 2023

Hi everyone! I know application cycle starts in August but I wanted to create this forum just in case somebody has questions and perhaps share some stats. 

Mine are:

Science GPA: 4.0

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

TEAS Composite: 98.0

TEAS Reading: 93.6

I hope we can create a group chat of some sort so it's easier for us to communicate whenever someone has questions during the application period!

Thank you for the useful information! I have created a facebook group so that we could update each other with regards to the application and updates for the SON.

Okay so now I’m super confused. I looked on the Spring 2022 thread and found this picture where you can click the link to go to the BSN application. But when I go to that exact same page she was on, it’s not highlighted as a link. Also, on the supplemental app it said this application is due 9/19/22 but on the website it says we have until the 21st.

Yeah Im getting confused too because they only said to apply on the CalStateApply and submit a supplemental application after that. They did say to make sure to apply to the separate nursing school during the supplemental application, yet they did not provide a link nor give much detail where to exactly submit that application.

This is driving me nuts too! Every link seems like a dead end. I even emailed a CSULB nursing rep a little over a week ago, but they sent the same link that was sent here.. Please let me know when you get a response from them ? https://www.csulb.edu/college-of-health-human-services/school-of-nursing

Hi there,

I was just on the phone with the TechDesk, they said there were also other applicants like you and me having the same issue with the application also, calling in to troubleshoot. They instructed me to call Nursing Department again around noon again if the issue has not been resolved by then.

I called the TechDesk department, they said there seem to be an issue with the nursing application right now, and there are also other applicants experiencing the same thing like me atm. They suggested me to wait and give them a call again around noon if the issue has not been resolved by then.

I called them this morning as well. They tried to suggest solutions like changing your browser (E.g using Chrome or Firefox) or using incognito mode. Neither of them worked. 

The TechDesk department did reply to my email from last night when I asked about the log in issue. Basically they said that since we do not have a CSULB account, we cannot do the sign in for the BSN application. So do we wait at this point? LOL

I tried to call the School of Nursing number but no agent is available to pick up a call. An automated message is basically saying that we should all email questions to [email protected]

Ugh it’s annoying though because they take forever to respond! Hopefully this is resolved by next week. I’m pretty sure I already did the right BSN application but I never received the confirmation email so I’m not sure if it went through.

"It looks like we are currently having issues with the website. I have contacted our I.T administrator and am awaiting for a response. I will reach out when it is up and running."

They just replied to my email. Looks like there's something wrong with the application website.
