Hi everyone! I know application cycle starts in August but I wanted to create this forum just in case somebody has questions and perhaps share some stats. 

Mine are:

Science GPA: 4.0

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

TEAS Composite: 98.0

TEAS Reading: 93.6

I hope we can create a group chat of some sort so it's easier for us to communicate whenever someone has questions during the application period!

Just curious, are there other hidden factors that may impact the decision of your admission to the nursing school? I know your admission is based on your impaction score but can other factors like being in the military or being of local preference add some points?

I believe the only other factors that would have an impact would be being in the military and having any in-progress courses (the major requirement courses)

Ohh, thx! I'm just worried because my score of 9.388 is on the lower end compared to everyone else's score. To be honest, I'm just preparing to be waitlisted (if lucky and hope to get accepted) or rejected and apply to other schools.

@name_is_in_use I feel you, it seems like everyone has like a 9.7 or above? I’m preparing to hopefully at least be waitlisted as well, but if your in the military I think someone mentioned that it added a little to your impaction score!

I’m a veteran and I read that they add a tenth of a point to your GPA but I’m not sure about anything else. But sending good vibes!! Remember, there’s not as many applicants in the Spring as there is in the fall and they accept 70-80 rather than 60. Also, I think in past forums I saw people getting accepted without being waitlisted with 9.3! We’ve got this!! ?

The decision is on self service guys!! I’m at work so I looked away before I could see my decision because I don’t want to find out at work LOL

I have a feeling you did...I just checked, and I got offered conditional admission. Does that mean I'm accepted or something? ?

If it does, let me process my emotions ?

You still most likely have a very good chance of getting off the waitlist!

Also, as a transfer student, this doesn't count as an official admission notice, right? Instead, it says something about activating your account and accessing MyCSULB Student Center. So do you wait for the official letter from SON to accept the admission offer?
