CSU Fullerton Fall 2010 applicants?

Hi everyone!

I haven't seen any postings from CSUF EL-MSN Fall 2010 applicants! Are there any of you out there? I received my complete checklist about two weeks ago and was curious if anyone else has heard anything from the school?? Good luck to all of you!!!

I got my e-mail sent to my regular e-mail address and not to my fullerton e-mail. However, it was only sent to 30 of us with last names ending from P-Z I am pretty sure. Like AeroNat said there must be another group being interviewed, however I have not heard from anyone else that got the e-mail so don't give up hope yet!

AeroNat, have you heard anything else from Fullerton? How many they plan on interviewing for how many spots? I am getting excited for the interview!

Nope haven't heard anything. That's a good point that its all the last names at the end of the alphabet, I hadn't noticed. There must be another email, i wonder what day, i think the wednesday thing was a mistake right...or is there really another interview on wednesday. I'm sure the interview will be an orientation too and they will try to answer our questions. I have questions about the cost, clinical sites, and whether they offer the CNL along with the masters because it doesn't seem like they do... which is different from a lot of entry level masters that are jumping on to the CNL role. And I'm sure they will have to tell us how many people they will be admitting, that's important information to know how many people we will be working with. Can't wait its only 8 days away! Then I'll finally start to understand more about this newer program. So I'll see you there :)

Well I guess I am out of luck b/c my last name is in the R's. I emailed to see if when we get the official rejection letters if it will tell us why we did not make the cut. I dont even know if I made GPA or not because my undergrad degree is from a school that is on quarters, yet my science prerequs are from a semester school. I dont know how far back in my transcrips they are going to make up their magic number of units required. No one at CSUF or at Fullerton College can seem to tell me what my combined GPA is. Good Luck on your interviews, keep this thread updated, I might be looking here again for advice next year when I apply again!!!

Good luck to everyone, I can't wait to find out! My interview instructor told my group sometime in April which may mean the very last day of April, so hopefully we hear sooner than later!!

Next week, the letters should be mailing out. Good luck to all. I think that they send out rejection letters first.

Wow that's really soon! Good luck! I also had a question if anybody can help that would be great...

When I log onto my CSUF Portal account it still says all of my transcripts need to be turned in, however I sent all of them in November and the school said they received them. Below each "to do" transcript it also says if you have not turned in your transcripts by March 10 your application will be withdrawn. Are they talking about the transcripts that were due by Nov. 30 or all of the ones you have had up to date? Thanks!

I had the same issue, so I called them to find out what was happening. they said that they had recieved over 60,000 applications (graduate and under grad) and that they process each one by hand. She was able to log into my application and she saw that they had them, but that they had not been processed yet. she told me the would "get to them when they get to them." You can call admissions at the number on the portal, have your application number ready and they will look it up for you.

Yeah I called this morning and she gave me a number to call after 12. I am just panicking because nothing has been changed on my Portal account accept for the additions of an "accept/decline" button and a "wastlist" button. Has anybody else's Portal account changed?

Future murse, how did you find out and who told you about the decision letters being mailed out this week?
