Did anyone apply to CSU Bakersfield? I applied for the Spring 2010.
wow you are detailed thanks so much for explaining it to me. So are you living up there now? If so share how is it area wise and campus is it what you expected?
i can get more detailed than that if ya want
yes i am living here in Bakersfield now for school.
the campus is dead and Bako is a boring hole in the wall full of oil fields, looks like Iraq. well, compared to where I used to live in nor cal. the people can't seem to stop talking too. mmm, it was what I expected it to be. boring. but if you're a nursing major, then it's all good because now you can concentrate on your studies:p.
thanks but the details were more then enough to make me understand. Alright now that your there I can start the questions haha well you dont live in the dorms or you do? What do you mean by dead as in not many students? The area is not fun either there is nothing to do there at all? Boring too? what? Well your right concentration >
@ This is the year
I emailed ----- last week and she responded the next day with an answer!! I was just too anxious to wait it out for an email regarding where we stand (the email we received that the dept. had gotten our apps said they would email in a month or longer due to the holidays)!
I'm def. going to live off campus, so my family can visit regularly....it's only a little over a 2 hour drive for me to get to Bako. I just can't see living in a small room with a complete stranger!!
Hey Starness921,
You are talking about the CSUB nursing webpage right? I did not have any problems accessing the page.
Also, have you received an email in regards to where we currently stand? She sent that one email before the holidays, so it has been quite a while. I hope we get something soon.

because spring always starts the new year before fall and then fall comes, and then spring, and then fall, and then spring again...
I applied for the spring 2010 since I was not able to apply for the fall 2009 yet(i was not ready). applications for the spring 2010 were out on summer of 2009. i applied then. then fall 2009 came after the summer of 2009. people who applied for the fall 2009 and got accepted for fall 2009 the year before will begin their first nursing classes that fall 2009. if there were students in that fall 2009 who didn't finish patho, then they would finish patho in the summer of 2009, the quarter before fall 2009 and the same time applications are out for spring 2010. during fall 2009, the people who were accepted start their first nursing classes and at the same time, the people who applied for the spring 2010 will be evaluated and send out acceptances at the end of fall 2009. then those people who were accepted for spring 2010 and did not finish patho yet will finish patho on winter 2010 quarter, the quater after fall 2009. after the winter 2010, then people who were accepted to the spring 2010 will begin in the spring of 2010. during the fall 2009, the applications for the fall 2010 class were out. now, during the spring 2010, the people who were accepted for spring 2010 will begin in the spring 2010 and at the same time, people who applied for the fall 2010 will be evaluated. those who get accepted for the fall 2010 and need to finish patho will finish patho in the summer of 2010, the quarter after the spring 2010. then they begin the nursing classes in fall 2010. the whole cycle repeats again by having the applications for spring 2011 out during the summer 2010 while those who need to finish patho for the fall 2010 finish patho in the summer 2010.
I didn't apply for the fall 2010, I applied for the spring 2010. It makes sense because spring comes before fall after a new year.
¿Comprende ahora mismo? You understand now?
the patho test went all right. it was fair, now i'm just waitin' on my grade. I hope i get at least a B or B+.
