Hi,
I haven't seen a CSU Bakersfield thread anywhere for its Fall 2015 program, so I thought I'd make one for anyone that applied there.
I'm in the process of taking Physiology with lab now (under Prof. Stark). 2nd test coming up this week
Anyone hoping to get into CSUB?!

Hi!
do you currently go to CSUB too? :)
Yes, I do go to CSUB :)
Was Physiology the last class you had to take?

Hi guys! Do you know when we get notified if we got in or not?
I was accepted to CSUB so yay!! One down, one more to go (nursing program) (:
I was told we would be notified in late July or early August. I was hoping it would be sooner because the wait is killing me
Spring quarter is finally over!
The wait is making me anxious
How much points do you have from the GPA points calculator that they provide in the website?

I applied too. It's the only program I applied to, so I'm really hoping to get in! I got 86 primary points and 89 secondary points. According to the GPA calculator they have, my prereq GPA is 3.74, sci/math GPA is 3.55, and my TEAS score was a 94%
I know the average GPA for accepted students is about a 3.6ish, but does anyone know the average amount of points?

You'll probably get in. Your TEAS score secures you a spot. I only have 71-74 points myself since I didn't do so hot in the TEAS test (82.7%). They refuse to tell the average points - just that they just go by a ranking system. But you probably shouldn't worry about that.
Thanks for the info! It's odd that they won't tell anyone the average points... Like it's such private information or something.
How many times did you take the TEAS? The first time I took it I got around the same score as you, but the second time the questions they gave me were SO much easier than the ones I got the first time.
(BTW, I definitely meant 86 primary points and 89 TOTAL points. I'm sure you knew what I meant, but I still wanted to correct myself!)
My pre-req gpa is 3.84 and my math/science gpa is 3.87. I got an 86 on my teas. When I hand calculate my score I get 78 points, but the gpa calculator they give us says I have 83 so I'm not sure whats going on haha.
