Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.
I bought my books through Amazon, some new, some used. All the books from the bundle came to $330.
Did you purchase any of them as a rent or was that the price for all buys? or is that just the price without the video skills online? I priced all the books out on Amazon (which I found to be the cheapest prices) and my total came to $444 with the video skills for all the bundled items. Most were new buys but some were used buys.
I cant buy for another couple of weeks but I want to make sure I get a good deal. I do not plan to rent just because I have read on here that you reference back to your past semester books alot especially first semester.
I purchased all of them, except for the last one from the list of the bundle (the one that said free with the bundle). The total came to $330, I bought the cheapest ones I found.
In reviewing what I have I could get everything for 301 without the video skills. I did notice that the nursing ASSISTANT video skills is 30 bucks but the regular NURSING video skills is 143. Just wanted to bring that up just in case you bought the wrong one...if not what price did you pay for the video skills??...i'm trying to find something cheaper than 143 for the access code but all the websites I have found are pretty much the same.
Ooohh am I indecisive ... I do remember that the gentlemen said that all the eBooks are ours for a lifetime but I'm scared that I will regret not buying the books as I'm so used to the printed version. I did go through the new book (as I don't want previous possible highlights in the books ) prices on amazon and didn't really see a difference in pricing, as I would prefer to have both print & eBook.
I forgot to check there if is a rental option for each book in the bundle, I remember the first two books were only $15-$20 to rent which would make it way less than the $800 for both options even though I would have to return the rented books.(But at least I would have the eBook for future reference)
Does anybody have an estimate on renting all the books from the bundle, and/ or if they all even have an option for renting?
I did notice that probably a good 80% of all the required books (not just bundle ones) were available for rent which changes the price dramatically!
I was able to find a bundle with the fundamentals book (which I really wanted to get new instead of used) and the video skills on amazon which changed my price dramatically. In the end I will pay $563 for ALL of the REQUIRED books. about 70% will be new and 30% used. All books are exact editions & years.
p.s. I will also be receiving like a $100 rolling backpack as a xmas gift also lmao ?

I think that splitting the bundle price with someone is a good idea like the guy mentioned but you would have to find someone who is absolutely set on buying the ebooks because they want them not because of cost. ?(I think alot of people are settling for ebooks because of the cost)
