Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.
Does anyone know if we need to have the ebooks? I know there is an option to buy just ebooks or ebooks and physical books, but can we just buy physical books (I would obviously have to buy them individually)...just wondering cause I dislike ebooks and even if I'm only saving $20 or $30, would still rather save that money...

No, you do not need ebooks. Buy what's cheaper for you and do not spend the money on the bundle because the price includes ebooks.
This is a semi embarrassing question to ask I think...I have a prescription I take thats classified as a controlled substance. I have a prescription, a legal one from my doc...I was reading the drug test policy about it and when the dean calls about my test coming up positive for something, do I just bring my prescription then? or should I bring it to the lab with me?

Definitely bring it with you to the lab.
I tried and she is out til Wednesday. I mentioned it to the lady who handed out the forms (cant say her name) and she said it'll come up positive and he dean will call and then I bring the prescription in. She said it very certainly, so I'm gonna guess this has come up before? It will be really unfair to get kicked out even though I have a legal script
From my experiences, avoid the possible upcoming issues and report your scripts to the dean (or whoever who should see it) now. That way, when it comes up "positive", you'll already be covered INSTEAD of them taking negative action first.
Definitely bring it with you to the lab.
Thanks. I dont necessarily want to broadcast it to the world but that way the lab has a heads up you know? Because they can include "positive but there is a prescription" or whatever. In the handbook it says there's some third party who checks for the prescription.
