CSN Spring 2015

Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.

I just found out that your first orientation will be on Friday November 12. So you will find out your fate before then! This orientation is mandatory and if you fail to attend they will give your spot to the next applicant. You may want to request the day off from work :) good luck peeps!

Thank you for the heads up. Especially for those of us they may have to work!

Do you mean Friday the 14th or Wednesday the 12th @christina731 for orientation?

I apologize, it is on Friday the 14th. They generally do this type of thing on Fridays because less students are on campus.

im sorry.. does anyone know how many times are we allowed to take the teas?

I believe you can take it as many times as you want for CSN but you have to put 90 days in between each test. I want to say the only school with a limit is NSC. You can only take it two times in two years but they also only require an overall score of like 60 percent or something low like that.

Here is the info regarding the TEAS from CSN's website. It doesn't state a maximum amount of attempts. Only as a PP stated regarding minimum time in between attempts. Personally I took mine twice (failed the English portion of exam 1 by like 1% - ugh) and was accepted after my second attempt.

I believe it was 8am until about 4pm. Unless something changed, you should pick your schedules on that day. So you won't be able to register in any nursing classes on the date of early registration.

I was also told that some applicant's majors in mycsn are changing from pre-nursing/whatever else it was to Nursing AAS. Mine didn't change until a week after orientation. I'm not sure if it means good news or not, but check to see if they changed something. It's under my academics.

Thank you christina731 for all of your help and knowledge! I am getting a little impatient, but with Friday being Nevada day, we should all hear something by Thursday I hope!! I just checked mycsn and my degree hasn't been changed. I have 40 points, so unless something crazy happened with my application, I am (im)patiently waiting by my phone for a "yes." Good luck everyone!!

Happy to help :) I don't know how true it is about the major changing but check it periodically to see if anything changes.
