Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.

I was told the same thing - end of the month. If they give you a specific date they will be inundated with phone calls. The nice ladies in the nursing department that make the calls have a million other things to do. You will soon learn that those ladies essentially run the program and they are amazing!

Thanks for all of your assistance, advice, and information on here. I know we all appreciate it!

next week is the week! ugh soooo nerve wrecking ? I hope the points didn't change from last semester ? waiting has been easy up until this point. now I'm just to anxious, I just want to know lol ? best of luck to you all. I hope to meet everyone soon ?

I know you guys are all anxious but trust me when I say enjoy your free time now. Your first semester is no joke. This is my first semester and when people say you don't have a life..... YOU LITERALLY DONT HAVE A LIFE.. No other schooling that I've done comes close to what nursing school requires from you. Seriously enjoy your last few months of freedom lol

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with this. I have had a part time job, been active in the student nurses association and had a life throughout nursing school (and before) and I've been able to maintain a 3.5 GPA which I should still have when I graduate in December. I'm no genius and yes it's tough to keep up but I have definitely had a life. With that being said, everyone is different. Please don't psych yourself out before you even get there. You need to have a life. Take some time to be with those that you love periodically. I'm not saying you should be out partying with your peeps every night but if you dedicate your entire life to nursing school you'll go nuts! Trust me :)

Christina731,

i agree with you. All your time should not be only school. Some of my peers have adjusted a lot easier to nursing school than I have. I just know that doing all the pre reqs and the schooling I've had before does not compare to what I am dealing with now. I finally found a studying method that is working. I just meant that they should enjoy there time now because it will not be the same once nursing school starts :) I remember you telling me the same thing and I didn't believe you Christina731 lol

If you don't mind me asking were you in the part time or the regular track?

Full time.

I just found out that your first orientation will be on Friday November 12. So you will find out your fate before then! This orientation is mandatory and if you fail to attend they will give your spot to the next applicant. You may want to request the day off from work :) good luck peeps!

do you know what time of day it is or how long it last

Thank you Christina731!!!! Always so helpful! !!
