Hello, everyone I'm new to this forum and I'm applying to CSN for Spring 2014. I was wondering if there are any other hopefuls out there?
Welcome tennis addict,
My best advise for the teas that I received was to get rid of the nervous was to take a break from reading anything test relative like a magazine to ease the nervous, because I can/had freaked the flip out so badly that my heart start to go into sympathetic mood, speed up so fast that I can only hear it beating and throws me off the focusing of the test... Bad experience behind me... I say focus on your hardest first then if it is not reading than that next because that section gets about 50% the people who don't pass the first time, Then for me English, science and math. I also used the ATI and McGraw hill for testing
To one of you preparing for teas. Get the book. If you don't have one, get in contact with me. Mine is just going to collect dust.
Everything I had on the test was somewhere in the book.
My advise is to keep an eye on time. I ony had 15 seconds left on my math and I felt like I had to rush at the end.
Tennis addict. I just got a job as a UC in a hospital part time with the idea ill be ae so study a little while im there. I'm hoping ill be able to keep it through school but I'm becoming more aware that I may need to pull loans and call it a day. I think I've done well going loan free so far, but I'd rather be a little in debt and be able to pay it off later than fall behind and out of the program. I figure ill see how it goes when the day gets closer.
Hello! I just made an account on here. I put my application in last week with 31 points. I hope we all get the call for acceptance, october couldn't come soon enough!
Thanks, I can't wait for October as well. The closer it gets the more nervous I become...
Oh by the way I applied with 30pts.
Hello!
I applied to the nursing program extended track last month with 31 points. I feel confident and I pray you all get in. Now, I will say that this journey has been a very difficult one for me. I have been through all sorts of stress from failing classes to failing the TEAS 4 times. Three years of struggling to finally get here. I just pray it all pays off in the end because I'm always stuck with the fear of failing the nursing program, you know? I see people all the time of how hard it is and them dropping out. Whether we are accepted or rejected, fail or pass, it's the assurance of God's comfort and strength He gives that pulls us through.
Hi everyone. I passed the teas, yay. Turned in my app Monday bit of a problem; i did not know the substitution form submitted for math 100. Has anyone had this problem? Limited entry office said as long as i submit it to the nursing department before the first i should be fine. Had anyone had to do this substitution form? How does it work?

I took it once also, just to see what it was about and I didn't pass.... I was like .2% off in each section. I bought the ATI study guide and I started it July 24 and I pick it up and study a lil (1hr or 2) each day.
