Hello, everyone I'm new to this forum and I'm applying to CSN for Spring 2014. I was wondering if there are any other hopefuls out there?
Christina731,I was wondering if its true that you get little to no sleep while in nursing school.?. Is it as intense as like medical school where they can only get three hour a day sometimes. I know it's worth it i just want to be prepared for a Starbucks and coffee debt or not.
Nope, not for me. I don't work during the semester and I don't have kids so I might be an exception but you cannot study 24/7. For 1st semester I had class on Tuesdays 0800-1400 and Wednesdays from 0800-1000 and clinical was on Thursdays from 0645-1245. I had Fri-Sun to study and enjoy time with friends and family and managed to get a 3.5 GPA for 1st semester. I did study for many hours a day but I still slept at night. Especially the night before clinical and the night before exams. Now that doesn't mean that I kept away from Starbucks. I'm definitely addicted :) hehe
Hi! I'm so glad i found this thread. I'm applying for spring '14, as long as i pass my TEAS Aug. 24th. If there's any advice for the teas from past takers, please let me know. I have 28 points before the teas. My last obstacle is so close. I'm petrified of failing the teas. Keeping my fingers crossed though. Will anybody be working during school?
