CSN RN Spring 2014

Hello, I am also new to this forum thing but I plan on applying in March for Fall 2014. These forums seem to be pretty helpful and supportive so I thought I would get on here now.

Yea, the forums are very helpful. I been stalking the last forum and seem how much support everyone gives each other. So I decided to get on some the action as well with other hopefuls.

Yes, in July.

How far are you with pre-req before applying for next fall?

That is great, so hopefully you will find out soon. Do you have any idea as to when you will receive the good news.

I have 3 classes left and I am taking 2 classes in the fall. I spoke with an advisor the other day and she said I may get accepted for fall 2014, only because the pre-req for math has changed and that may go in my favor. If not I will apply for spring 2015 :\ when I have completed the last pre-req.

I remember when I was in your shoes a year ago and I'm about to start my second semester of the ADN program.. I love it! It's very challenging and you will work very hard but it will pay off when you get good grades! Feel free to ask any questions you may have! I enjoy spreading my knowledge! :) good luck everyone!

I am also a Spring 2014 hopeful for the regular track. I am taking my last two general education classes this fall (Bio 224 & Com). I've been advised to wait and apply for Fall 2014 because no one has been accepted in the past with less than 21 points (according to the counselors I've talked to). I know I have a very slim chance of getting accepted with 15 points, but I have to at least try. I'm trying to stay positive!

I was in the same place as you last semester, i was missing 224 and PSC, when I tried to apply for fall. So I say it doesn't hurt to put your name in. So fingers crossed you'll never know.

I'm also applying for regular track.

Peekaboosarah, someone in my class was accepted as an alternate with 9 points (per the Limited Entry Office) and they started the program when I did in January. So please, please apply! Even if you think you don't have enough points. As long as you have the pre-req's/teas done you should apply. What's the worst that can happen? You will be kicking yourself in the you-know-what if you don't apply and find out someone else got in with less points than you had.

And yes, calls went out on Oct 25 for my class. That was the happiest day of my life :)

Good luck and I hope you get in. I also am taking com and soc in the fall and then all I have left is biol 251. I wish I could of applied for spring but I need to pass the TEAS first . I go on the 24th and I have been studying a lil each day so hopefully I pass.
