CSN RN Spr 2012 applicants When Are You Turning In Your Packets?

hello all!

i was just wondering, for those of you that are applying to csn's spring 2012 full time or part time rn program, when are you planning on turning in your packet?

i know the deadline isn't until sept 1,2011 but i am excited to get that acceptance letter :yeah:and i also just want the application off of my hands lol

Well it says up to 136 applicants on the program sheet, so not so bad! :)

That's actually not that bad last semester it was like 253 and the semester before that it was like 275. So I would say this this might be a good semester this year.

I can't believe they only had 28 applicants for part time!!! Now I almost wish I would've applied for that... With only 198 applicants I can't help but hope my application didn't get lost!! That would be my luck. Lol.

You know what's funny that's the same thing I thought. I should have applied for part-time. Then I started to panic and wonder if they had my appilcation:):)

I heard they are going to start the process on 10/13. So we are getting close. Thank goodness because I can't take it anymore. I have 28 points and when I started this process 28 pts was awesome, now i feel that it is the lowest amount to be considered. So nervous about it all. Best of luck everyone.

honestly i hope i get the call while at home because i just know i will cry! and i am not a cute cryer lol oh god please!?! ^^^dont freak me out by saying they will start calling on 10/13! thats like next week! omg let me calm down now lol

I am SO glad to hear orientation is on Nov 4th! I have had a trip planned to Hawaii for over a year now and we leave on the 5th!! Now I just have to worry about getting in. Hopefully I counted my points right at 29. That would be AWESOME if they started making calls on 10/13, I cant wait to just know already! Just think, you only need about 60 apps to have a lower score than you- thats nothin (positive thinking). If the cut off last year was at 28 with more apps, than I bet its more like 27 this year (positive thinking). Good luck everyone!!:anpom:

I feel you. One of my best friends went through the csn full time rn program a few years back and she got in with 23 and when I transferred out here from Cali one of the advisers said that with 28 points it was simply a matter of applying... I have 28 points and will feel a whole lot better when/if I get the call, otherwise I just might have to go back to the flight attendant gig!

No. I think that it is pretty normal.

As long as it doesn't take over your life, it's fine. But until the day those calls arrive, we may never get a sure answer from the program itself. Cheers!

Hopefully they are meeting this Thursday and we should start getting calls next week. I think they have to give us time to make arrangments for orientation right?

Based on previous semesters, they usually call the week before. So don't be surprised if you guys don't start getting calls until around the 26th.
