Hello All! So the time has come for a new thread for all of us applying for fall 2014. Anyone applying in March?

Hi!

I am also taking the teas in a few weeks, any advice would be great. How many points does anyone have, I currently have 36 points.

The teas is no fun. Best tip I think besides studying and taking practice tests is to manage your time well. The hour you get for reading and then math goes by super quick. I'll be retaking mine in a couple weeks.

Anyone applying with math 100?

I did, but I am scared I won't have enough points to get in because of it?

It really depends on the range of points. I applied with only 33, but I did have the MAT120. How many points did you have? Best wishes!!! It will be a long 8plus weeks!

I ended up with 34 points. I have my fingers crossed that the new 10 points for Math 120 will work in my favor since I missed out on those Biol 251 points. We'll see:) and yes, this is going to be a long wait!

I agree with you AGuiliano I am hoping the math works in our favor. I'm wondering why there arnt many posts on here this time. I looked back at semesters past and it seems by now they have at least 15-25 people posting.

I'm dying to call nursing dept to see if they have the number of applicants yet.

Sandfamily I noticed the same thing. Might be wishful thinking, but maybe there aren't as many applicants for Fall. If you hear anything, let us know :)

I called yesterday to ask how many people apllied and she didnt know yet. They are busy with other programs... Hopefully will know soon the # of apllicants.

I have 30 points with Math 100... Last semester I would have gotten in easy but this time I might not even get in! Scary... Done with all my pre-req.

The worst thing is I did Math 181 but CSN didnt accept the class and I didnt have time to petition for it. Still dont understand since NSC accepted it without a problem.

Thanks for calling Mermaid5 and letting us know. I'm sorry about CSN not accepting your Math181 course. Are you taking Math120 or higher right now, just in case? I hope your able to get in! :)

I emailed yesterday as well and was told the same thing. Seriously it's only the 1st week, how are we supposed to last 8 weeks! Lol! At mermaid5 fingers are crossed for you. I really can't imagine that 120 people have the MAT 120, but that could just be hopeful thinking! I have all kinds of theories that work in many of ours favors.

I've been wanting to call and ask how many applicants they have had. That way the anxiety would simmer down a little bit. I keep thinking I didn't fill out everything :/
