CSN RN Fall 2014

Published

Hello All! So the time has come for a new thread for all of us applying for fall 2014. Anyone applying in March?

After checking several googled sites about toolbox at CSN, I finally came across the the course title for the toolbox class referenced above. I'm not sure where others were finding the info about it, but to make it a little easier for some of you out there, I figured I'd post the info here.

The course is NURS 285. It appears that it is only for students who have been accepted into the nursing program. I found that it is offered as a 1.5 credit course this summer M-F from July 7th-23rd. There are a few different course sections so that you can hopefully find a time that works with your schedule.

Hope this helps, and congratulations to all of you that have been accepted into the program (even as alternates-good luck to you). See you May 21st!! :)

How long did you guys study for the TEAS test??

I never get a call...so I called them around 3:30pm...found out I didn't get in even with 36 points...apparently I made an error on my application. :(

Vpbernal I studied about 2 or 3 days. I used the McGraw hill book. It's the one that helped me the most!

That totally stinks, Lilcnmee633. I'm so sorry. My understanding is you'll have to go in to the office to find out what the error was so that you can correct it for next semester. I knew I had enough points but have been nervous this whole time that I missed something on the app. That's really a bummer. So sorry! Don't give up.

Oh my..Im sorry to hear that.. but never forget things happen for a reason (even tho we may not always understand why)... Pretty sure you'll get in for the next round with the points you managed to obtain! :)

Stay positive!

Thanks. Yeah...went in earlier and met with the limited entry lady. She's showed me the error in my file. I feel like I got cheated....

So they don't go over ones application whatsoever when one goes to turn it in? Applying for Spring 15'

No. I even met with a counselor before I turned it in... You might wanna ask if that's something you can do prior to submitting. I'm not applying next sem., gonna move on. Good luck!

Last year when I tried to turn my app in the first time thelady in the lilimited entry office checked if I had everything since she was in the office when I was turning it in. Good thing too.because I.forgot my high school transcript/ diploma.

Okey thank you for the heads up! Im sure I would go over it many times before I turn it in but it would've been nice to get a confirmation before it's final =/
