Hi Everyone!
I am new to the site and will be applying to CSN's RN program in March. I wanted to start a thread and see who will be applying with me and how things are coming along for everyone. :) I have all pre-reqs completed with a pre-req GPA of 3.58. I took the TEAS about a month ago and I passed, but wasn't thrilled with my score, particularly in science. I got an adjusted individual total score of 74.7%. Reading: 92.9%, Math 70%, Science 60.4%, and English & Language Usage: 76.7%. I barely passed the science portion and have signed up to take the TEAS one more time in February. With my current TEAS score, I have a total of 29 points for my application. I'm really hoping to get a better score and another point or two from the second TEAS!
Please let me know if you'll be applying in this cycle. I'd love to exchange advice and information and just connect with *hopefully* some future classmates! :)
Because I was an alt and picked late, my option for Nurs101 is #14- with an online pharm class. I don't do well with online classes and now i have both pharm and lecture online with the teacher everyone is warning about =( so nervous. Did one of the admin/teacher say it was okay to attend an in-person lecture class? because that is what I really need! Plus I signed up for the toolbox class-1030am-12pm. Anyone else? And is there ANY to switch out my class schedule for another???
I heard from a friend who is now 2nd semester that all of the lectures will be online only after 1st semester? I'm taking the online pharm too
I'm going into my third semester and that is not true. There are lots of classes on campus. Good luck with online pharm, I've heard horror stories. ;/
Hey guys! First off, congrats on making it in! And to the alternates, I've got my fingers crossed for you! I'm glad there's so many of us on here. I already feel a little less nervous going in. :) Which is good because my head was spinning after orientation! I didn't think I'd ever be able to finish all the pre-progam stuff. I'm almost half way done now, which is a huge accomplishment for me because I'm the world's biggest procrastinator (trying to change my ways, lord help me) How's everyone else doing?
