  1. I'm going into my third semester and that is not true. There are lots of classes on campus. Good luck with online pharm, I've heard horror stories. ;/
  2. You will use your 101 books throughout all 4 semesters, so unless someone flunked they won't be able to sell. You can go online Craigslist and do a search. I am sure you will find them there. Good luck!
  3. I think posting about rumors is a bad idea. This affects everyone currently in the program and those going into it because it questions our credibility. Imagine if the hospitals or news media got wind of this "rumor" and how they will judge future graduates from this program.
  4. First off you might not get a choice. You will draw a number from the lottery to select your class selection. You might be lucky and get a low number. If given the choice to take online or in class for the first semester I would say that you will prefer the professors in class. It appeared that these students had a much larger advantage than online students. I can not go into further detail. I did not need a class to motivate me or do well, it just would have been MUCH more enjoyable and I could have learned more. The online class you are on your own to learn and figure things out. That being said, the tests were so hard online that I did learn how to think more critically and it really shows when I take the ATI tests because they are easy compared to the 101 tests.
  5. I love the program. I have learned so much in just two semesters. If I could give you all one piece of advice for first semester it would be to avoid online courses at all costs. Secondly, hang in there because it gets much better. First semester is really hard, but if you make it through second semester is MUCH more enjoyable. Good luck!
  6. I remember being in your shoes a year ago. It was exciting and nerveracking all in one. Good luck to you all. I bet you'll get calls next week. The first orientation is May 11th so that gives them more time to call so don't freak out if you don't hear next week. Enjoy your summer because your social life is about to end.
  7. I had 29 points. Two of my friends both got in with 29 as well. Anyone with 30 is in for sure. Good luck!
  8. OMG! They just called....I'm in!!!
  9. Wow! I can't believe none of us haven't received a call yet. Talk about the last minute. I truly hope it is this week.
  10. Hi Everyone. I've been checking this board daily to see if anyone else has gotten a call. What is taking them so long? Ahhh!
  11. I took all 223/224 at NSC. I did not take them in the summer. It is a lot of information. IMO 251 was by far the easiest. I took 224 and 251 together and got A's in both. Im sure you'll do great since your juggling such a heavy workload already. Good luck.
