CSM fall 2011 applicants!

Hi Guys,

I am waitlisted for CSM too! I was #75 last year, and drum roll please...#1 this year!! I am SO excited to think it will actually happen after THREE years of trying! I have a friend who was #7 last year and is in the program this year, she said they took ten people from the waitlist.

I also got waitlisted for SFSU at Sequoia, but they didn't give me a number. I am also waiting to hear from Chabot...

When did your friend get notified that she was in? Just wondering if they notify before orientation in May.

hi everyone! i am #16 on the waitlist and they told me to attend the orientation in May!!! :hgu: I really do hope that I get accepted this Fall 2011. I've been waiting for three years... I am also waiting on CCSF and Chabot.Good Luck to everyone!

You may indeed get your call, I was told they're up to # 15 or 16 on the waitlist, and still waiting for people to submit their TEAS score.

hey guys,

I got an acceptance letter for CSM and I probably saw some of you there! anyways, I am worried about the program and i am trying to find out the success rate for the program. My friend got accepted into merritt city college and she told me the success rate for that program is 33 percent, so i am kind of worried about the CSM program. does anyone know a person who has gone through the program and maybe get some feedback about it...

i got a letter from csm today as well, and i'm #8 on the wait list. i have to attend orientation in may.

hey, just wondering, what is the selection process like at csm? is it by lottery? i currently go to ccsf and trying to get my pre-qreqs done and i want to apply to as many rn programs as i can once i complete my courses.

Yes, it's the lottery system but they probably put your name in the "drum" once again if you are reapplying. This is just my guess because I received a letter with a waitlist number which said that I can reapply next year and should include a copy of this letter into the application package to let them know that I applied before. Maybe they will change something next year, who knows.
