CSM fall 2011 applicants!

I applied last month.

I applied also hopefully we get good news!

yea me too! This is my first time, and I don't know anything about this program at all. what are some things that you can tell me?

I applied for the first time. Today, March 26, I received a letter from College of San Mateo that I'm on the wait list... guess what number? 124. Tough luck! I applied for City College of San Francisco and Chabot College as well. Chabot College Nursing web site says that they will start mailing letters after April 26 or something. CCSF website says they received 895 applications and will select 80% from the list of re-applicants and 20% from the new ones. Since I'm a new applicant, good luck to me... I'm gonna cry right here and right now!!! I want to have a baby but I was hoping to have it after graduation. Now I will have to wait one more year at least... ;-((((

i got a letter from csm today as well, and i'm #8 on the wait list. i have to attend orientation in may.

Wannabe an RN, congratulations to you! I'm sure you'll get into the program this year. When you submitted your application, did you submit a last year wait list notice too? They say that I should submit it next year but who knows if it works at all.

I'm #143 on the waitlist here. Oh well, I'm really hoping for San Francisco State University though! So far I didn't make it to CCSF and CSM. I'm still waiting for Chabot College and maybe apply to Ohlone College. Good luck to everyone else!

I appreciate that, although I'm not very hopeful. I did apply last year, and was #64 on the wait list. I've also applied to Chabot, so I'm hoping to get better news from them!

I am waitlisted for CSM too! I was #75 last year, and drum roll please...#1 this year!! I am SO excited to think it will actually happen after THREE years of trying! I have a friend who was #7 last year and is in the program this year, she said they took ten people from the waitlist.

I also got waitlisted for SFSU at Sequoia, but they didn't give me a number. I am also waiting to hear from Chabot...
