CRNE October 2010

Hello every1,

I am going to take CRNE in October 2010. I need your tips and suggestions. I am registered with CARNA (Alberta board of Nursing) but going to take my exam in Toronto. I guess CRNE is standardized exam and is same all over Canada. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I don't know about the public holiday coz my daughter's school will be opened tomorrow.

Depends I think on the Province I know where I live everything is closed tomorrow 'Remembrance Day'

why is it important to know about february deadlines? if we fail october, dont we have to wait 6 months before taking the test again? so we cannot take it in february anyways...

And concerning the CNO, answering phones about peopel presenting the exams is part of their jobs and it is our right to call. Renewing licenses is also part of their job. I offered a simple solution for them to post updates on their website but they dont do it because they want to fake the fact that they are busy.

You do not have to wait 6 months to resit the exam if you fail. Generally colleges will make an extension to allow people who fail the exam to register for the next date as they know you have eligibility already so no need to check though your application.
