Hi,
I was just wondering about registration for your license. If I register before December 2011 will I be registered for 2012 or am I going to have to register again in 2012 and pay the fee again?

In my case since I have a GN lisc valid til Nov 30/11, registrar told me that I can register for 2012, rather than spending twice for 2011 and 2012.

I actually took two of them, the three day one at George Brown college and the 10 day at toronto school of nursing. It helped me because it basically forced me to study. I was soooooooo stressed out before the exam, because I had failed twice already. Don't give up. :yeah::yeah:

How was Toronto School of Nursing? Was it valuable investment for ten days? I am curious becauseI want to go there as well. Thanks

hi sweetnurse123,
when one fails under 10 points they do review your scantron sheet and do a hand-scoring but do not tell you. so it is not necessary. good luck.
you will be given an amount to pay which should be lower for 2011 and then you will have to pay for your new one for 2012.

i will take your advice and not pay the money, thanks. i will just take a course and study harder:)

How was Toronto School of Nursing? Was it valuable investment for ten days? I am curious becauseI want to go there as well. Thanks

Me and two friends traveled from Trent and it was an overall pretty good experience. Oh yeah and we all passed.... yeah! I failed the first time, but my two friends took it just to play it safe. The area has tons of restaurants, so I think I gained 5 pounds after the 10 days - laughing out loud!. The course is very thorough and theres lots of content. We really learned how to answer questions, which helped reinforce all the theory. You have lots of studying, but taking the class definitely helped myself. I would recommend it in my opinion:up:

She oked me to disclose her email and I will let you know later today. She has many many years experience and she really enjoys coaching students in her spare time (she is retired now). She didn't charge me any fee and only accepted a small Tim Horton's gift card at the end (very small amount comparing to what people pay to those commercial programs, just a fraction)....... I know people driving all the way from Northern/Southern Alberta to get her help.....

I was so lucky to have her. May God bless her.
