deadline for the next exam is nov 15, whoever fails , can not go for feb exam and should wait untill june , have you heard something different from CNO?

Congra for you! I called CNO today regarding the deadline for the next examination (just prepare for the worst,:), and noticed that CNO seems not have mailed the results yet. They just said "We will be sending them out soon". Doe anybody know they will be sending the results on the same day?

I am planning to take the CRNE next year.

How would they give a Pass mark. Does it mean that out of 300 questions, you need to have 75% correct answers?

Don't worry about it. CNO said they already notice it and would still process the application for the next examination. But I would recommend you give them a call and tell them when you receive the result before sending your application form.

Each provincial regulatory agency gets the results from the testing agency so that they know who is eligible for registration and who is not. They in turn pass on the results to the candidates. Some provinces are small and on the ball and get their results out really quickly. Others like Ontario, because of the sheer number of results and the administrative burden of verifying and forwarding, take longer. That in no way excuses them from getting results to those who have not passed in a timely manner so that they will still have time to apply for the next sitting. But unfortunately, it happens fairly often that people have to wait for the sitting after that due to not knowing they'd failed until it was too late to get their applications in. I see that cwl191 has posted that CNO is aware that reults are delayed and that they'll extend the deadline for applications a bit so that there aren't so many people having to wait until June. Very accommodating of them, because they usually don't do that. Hang in there; if you have to write again, submit your application ASAP after you find out by the fastest route possible, and with luck and hard work you'll be successful in February.
