  1. due to the increased number of ien applicants that srna are processing it will take some time for them to give you a real-time update of your eligibility... i suggest you keep your patience and it will come up just when you don't expect it... i don't think the canadian embassy will issue the visa without the srna eligibility, they may have the visa for you but they wont release it without having that eligibility, as that is one of their primary requirements..

  3. ORT/LPNs can scrub too provided they undergone training or OR courses. RNs do scrubs...

  5. no, workpermit will be issued at your point of entry.. i guess it will be at vancouver airport immigration office.
  6. welcome to saskatoon pichipichi..:wlcmhnds: we expect around 30 nurses to arrive 2nd week of august.. there has been some preparation for your arrival.
  7. its going to be 35% wage increase in a 4 yr period... by 2011 top pay scale will reach $46.56/hr the increase will take effect this July 20 and retroactive pay (April 1 - July 19) will be release this November..

  11. Im a walk-in applicant.. Still depends on what areas your in to.. ward is always busy and understaff, of course... Im in OR, which is not as pressured and stressful as in the ward..

The Health Region delegation will fly to Manila sometime next week, they will recruit at least 300 nurses to fill-up various position in different regions...Saskatoon Health Region are one of them.. so far my experience with SHR are very good... Definitely not a mistake to hire Filipino nurses... Goodluck to all applicants!

  14. I suggest you guys get the official "CRNE Prep Guide" by the Canadian Nurses Association... You can check thier website at www.cna-aiic.ca Its a bit expensive but its worth it...
