  1. What do you mean by hired as a graduate nurse? What will be your work there? Will it be a part time or full time job? Sorry, I've got so many questions to ask. I'm still not that familiar on how things are in going to canada.
  2. Thanks for the information. Hope I will be lucky too. Please ignore my 1st thread to you. I wasn't able to read this post in advance. Thanks again.
  3. hi sknurse07! Just want to know how did you get an employer? Did you pass through an agency for it? Will you be working there as a RN already? Thanks in advance.
  4. I've been following up my application with them but they haven't replied on my letters even once. Isn't it they will give me a notice if ever I lack even one requirement? What is the best way to follow up on them? Do they answer overseas phone calls? Thanks again. =>
  5. Yes, they have received it because I sent my application thru fed-ex and it has a trace number. I've been e-mailing them about my application but still they haven't replied to my letter. It really worries me because it is as if I'm waiting for nothing. Still, thanks for the reply suzanne.
  6. I'm an applicant in NM BON. I've submitted my application last August2007 and until now I haven't received any notice from the board. It worries me a lot especially that they have released a revised form in applying for their state. This statement worries me lot because last time you only need to submit your TOR and they will be the one to process it for you. "Graduates from non- U.S. programs must submit proof of nursing education that is equivalent to an approved program of nursing in the U.S. The board does not evaluate transcripts. You must have an evaluation of educational credentials conducted by a qualified credentials evaluator. Applications received without this evaluation will be considered incomplete and returned to the individual." "Applicants who are Graduates of Foreign Nursing Programs: The Board of Nursing requires you to have your nursing education evaluated by a qualified credentialing agency. You must request the nursing or health care profession and science course-by-course credentials review. You are responsible for all fees charged by these services." Will this affect my application in their BON? Any information will be highly appreciated.
  7. Thanks for the information. It really is a big help and highly appreciated. => But which province mostly like have the same standard of education that we have here in th Philippines? I read in one the threads here, if filipino nurses goes to Ontario we still need to study for another 2yrs just to pass their standard. Which province will be mostly likely suitable for me(as a Phil RN)? Thanks again in advance..
  8. Hi guys! I'm new here in the canadian forum and I'm really interested in going to canada. I've already read some of your threads here and learned a lot. But there are still few things that confuses me. 1st, where do I have to apply first, in CRNBC or the province of my choice? 2nd, do I need an employer first before starting to file my registration so I can have the chance for the temporary registration? And lastly, I graduated last march 2006 and working since november2006 til present, do I have an edge in getting an employer sponsor me? Any information will be of big help. Thank you so much in advance. :flowersfo
  9. thank you for all those who replied to me.. =>
