Hi guys!
To all of you who took the CRNE last February 5, 2014, do you have any idea how many weeks should we wait for the results?
what could be the passing score? The exam was not an ordinary exam. I mean most of the cases are new (not the common dx of arf, crf, copd,mi etc). Also, the situations are not like for new Rn graduate.. I think you should have experience working in a hospital setting or special units because some of the questions are more of the routines in a hospital..not for nursing knowledge, anyways, good luck to all of us! In God, we trust!
The exams are Fedexed to Ottawa to the CNA offices where they're marked and reviewed. Any result where the score is very close to the passing mark are assessed to ensure the result is accurate (they DO want people to pass!) and adjustments are made where possible. Then the results are collated and mailed to the provincial colleges. Once they've been received by the provincial colleges they're cross-references with the applications, the results are recorded and letters are prepared. The colleges don't mail any of them until they're all complete. Depending on the number of results the college is dealing with, the amount of time to get them all ready to go varies. This is why the smaller provinces (population-wise) get their results first. The poor person who answers the phone at each of the colleges' offices is a receptionist; they're bombarded by calls after every exam and I really feel sorry for them - they have no control over any of it but they're the ones left holding the bag.
Thanks gene for your support. I am so tense that I afraid of receiving results. I take 3 months to prepare for exam, read the every chapter of Mosby book, solved the 3 guide books twice.I have more than 3 years of clinical experience.I felt all these useless after writing paper.I hope God will do best for all of us.

are you an internationally educated nurse?
Guys, let's prepare early to middle next week between march 10-12...results will be on our mailbox..Let us continue praying..From what I have compared to previous February exams, although this may not be accurate observation, results may come between March 10-12 on our mailbox..and if not, the week following and let us just wait and continue to fervently pray for miracle...God bless us all...
Hello fellow future RNs!
I don't know if there is a trick to know if you passed. I checked my account in my provincial board of nursing site and looked into myCPP records which displays when you open up your continuing competence file and there it displayed:
" RN Record (04/03/14-30/09/14)"
Has anyone else seen this? My friend called me up to check this out because he claimed he's never seen this before up until that Tuesday (March 04, 2014). Please reply to my comment if you have noticed this too. Thanks! All the best to everyone! Let's be optimistic!
P.S.- For those who didn't know, a person from Nova Scotia received her results today! She passed! Yey!
