CRNE February 2012

Hi everyone, Im an Irish nurse preparing for the CRNEs for February 2012 in Toronto. Didnt see any thread for this exam in February, so thought id start one. How is everyone preparing? Im using the CRNE prep guide doing Qs and studying the competencies. Any tips/advice? Happy studying!!

CRNE results are in for NS!!! They told me they expect to be mailed out today-suspect Monday or Tuesday we should know!!! :):)

hi,

reading your posts with interest as i am also an IEN hoping to find work in the ontario area that is once i sit and pass the CRNE in july, not good to hear the lack of jobs available. I to have 20years expereince which i hope will help me get a job.

has anyone gotten their results or heard when the people who sat it in toronto will get theirs?

I'm calling the CNO in Ontario but their line is busy maybe because of overloaded callers. I also called the ARNPEI in Prince Edward and they told me that the results were mailed out last friday afternoon, perhaps all PEI takers will gonna receive their results today. Goodluck to all of us... There's no turning back, we'r here :)

what does PEI mean?

PEI = Prince Edward Island Usually they and maritime provinces tend to get their results first due to the small number of candidates sitting the exam

Very disappointing day-I knew NS results were in so I expected it in the mail today or tomorrow, until I received an email from NS telling me I need to inform them once I know the results. I'm confused so I email basically asking 'shouldn't crnns know already?' Apparently, as a grad of an AB school....even though I work, registered here and wrote in NS...my results go to CARNA........update for CARNA folks.....results are NOT in for them, let alone sent out :( :( :(

Guess there is more waiting ahead-this sucks :(

Ps, do not call CARNA....apparently we're not allowed to call about the exam results (received)...guess I missed that memo (although I understand the rationale-++ calls)

I think no one got their results today except in PEI if there's any. I hope they gonna send out results this week.

Last October 2011 CRNE, CNO took 4weeks and 3days to mail out the results. I thought we'r gonna receive us sooner since we'r only few takers compare to October takers of 1400 in total. But who knows? They might just surprising us and we'll gonna receive our results tomorrow or within the week.

I got my results yesterday - I PASSED!!! Definitely didn't see that coming but I am so thrilled! 4 years of school has finally paid off and no more exams ever!
