l have been in bed all day today since after receiving my fail result, and this had been my second attempt.l feel devastated, l just wish that the ground would open up and swallow me. Words cannot describe the way l feel right now.l don't know what to do.Can anyone help me.

I understand how u feeling, I also failed my second attempt. There are so many wonderful people on here who are willing to help and they have also gone through exactly what we going through now. I know its hard but dont lose heart we will do it 3rd time lucky round right..... if you dont mind me asking where are you from?

Thank you dajcc. l finally managed to drag myself out of bed this afternoon and am so overwhelmed with all your responses. Thank you Rickyjohn for your willingness to help, l will be sending my email id to you soon.Samra and Sukkhi777, thank you for your encouragement. l am in Aldergrove and am hoping to meet up with you in the future for some discussions. You all revived my hope and faith and now l feel like l can actually get up and do this again and win this final battle!!Just the thought of not being able to do what l love,nursing, after doing this for the past few years was just mind boggling for me.So thank you all for caring,reviving me and taking your time to share. l really appreciate it.

I am so sorry but keep you chin up! Like you I failed twice but passed my last attempt. It is very hard to get through emotionally but you have tons of people here to support you :) I soul recommend you attend some courses. I live in Alberta and took the crne prep course at grant macewan which was amazing! It really helped me to change my strategies on approaching the questions. Plus it boosted my confidence! I also took the primed course in Calgary but they have courses in van, edm, and Toronto as well. Thetwo courses really helped me prepare for this third attempt. Best of luck and hope u feel better soon! You can do it!

Hi Chona13,

I have been thinking of how to help you. First, please take heart. You are justified in your grieving; only do not allow it to be dysfunctional. The first step in moving forward is to overcome the grieving and sorrowing part. I will let you know how I can be of help to you. I was there a shortwhile ago and I totally understand the bitter and crushing feeling one gets from failing the CRNE twice and is left with one chance. But as long as one still have another chance, it can never be said to be over until it is over. I will suggest you look back at your two previous attempts and identify where things went wrong. I do not believe that you do not have knowledge of nursing. You do. You have to look into your exam-taking (or multiple-questions taking) skills; look at your time management during the exam; look at your preparations; but above all, you have to believe that you can make it. The CRNE is passable, and you can do it!
