Hi Bisp
What do you suggest to do? I also did not make it second time round...
Agree with Nurses matter. Contact CRNBC instead of relying of word of mouth. They are usually good at assisting their members/exam Candidates.I don't think, however if there's specific conditions put for taking third attempts but as nurses matter said, you need to inform your manager if you work and fill in a form (sorry if forgot what it's called but it might be professional r responsibilities or goals) by you and your manager.
Yes al228 I have called but no answer...so have left them a message and hopefully they will get back to me later in the day!! Thanks for your advice
SamraNot a single strategy work for everyone. I encourage you to read other threads to find out more about the experience of successful candidates as well as unsuccessful ones.
CRNE is a serious exam specially if you speak English as a second language. I received my education here, had good marks through four years of my education and had a 87% in my muck exam we had at the end of our fourth year. We were told that if we passed that exam, we would pass the CRNE. Needless to say that I failed my first attempt by one mark only because wasn't able to finish the whole test, and rushed into decisions. There is a big focus on community nursing( which I'm personally not agree with that focus) but it is what it is.
Read through the threads and find out what you need to improve. When I was preparing on my second attempt my focus was finishing the exam on time. And I did it. So be focus on your study and strategies you take. And let me know if you needed more help. You'll find a lot of people here willing to help.
Cheers
Thanks Al228,,,,,, I really appreciate, I will try my best this time because last time i did not get enough time to study coz i was not very serious for the test. thanks for sharing your experience with me.
Hey Samra I feel for you......but best of luck for next time!! I got my results and unfortunately I didnt pass :-( this was my second time!! I dont know whats gonna happen now......what conditions will be put in place for me to take it for 3rd (final) time. I dont even know if i want to take it again its so discouraging. At the same time i think it should be given as shot otherwise its gonna be 4 years down the drain!!!
Hi Sukhi, I know it's difficult for you take decision, ,,,,,,,, but never loose hope. next time will pass for sure. DO you live in surrey or in Vancouver?

Hi RNfromusa,
Many people in Calgary received today and I am pretty sure that by tomorrow, most (if not all) of us will have received theirs. I am expecting everyone who receive this week to pass going by the pattern of result release by CARNA. I am waiting for your good news. All the best!
