"I do believe each province may have a different way of releasing the results. Lets look at it this way; Today wed 9 march makes it week #5. The CNA states that results will be received within 6 weeks which can only mean one thing, the provincial regulatory bodies may have already received the grades and are in the process of distributing them. How they actually go about doing it is questionable. So sooner or later we will all receive our results.
Lets keep readers of this thread posted as the results are received as to provide support. I will post as soon as i get my results whether its a fail or pass.
Lets hang in there guys.....Happy waiting....!"
I m in small county 150 km from Edmonton. One of my collegue who lives here only received her result on Monday,I m still waiting.I m trying to keep myself engaged but feeling so nervous.i m confused with late/early n pass/fail theory.Does it dispatched centraly or proviancewise.

This has already been explained several times, probably every time the exam is written. All the exams are sent to Ottawa to the head office of the Canadian Nurses' Association for marking. Once all of them ahve been marked, the results are collated by province. The results are then dispatched from Ottawa to each of the provincial/territorial colleges of nurses (with the exception of Quebec, where they do their own thing) by letter mail, 12 envelopes mailed on the same day. Once the provinces receive the results they then draft the letters that go out to the individual candidates. Once all the letters are written and ready to go, they are mailed out on the same day. Variations in the timing of receipt are due to volume and the vagaries of Canada Post. I strongly doubt that Alberta sends out the "fail" letters first since the results are reported from Ottawa in alphabetical order, but anything is possible, I suppose.
