CRNAs working in Boston

Published

I am a SRNA graduating this year, and relocating to Boston. I am not familiar with any of the hospitals or anesthesia groups. I was wondering if anyone currently working in the Boston area has any thoughts of the different anesthesia groups/hospitals - good or bad info is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Specializes in SICU.

Go work at Mass. General.......that way it would be a tad easier to publish in NEJM.

Is publishing important? What does it do for you? Better job opportunities?

Hmm how much is a avg salary in Boston Massachusetts? There are many hospitals hiring CRNA im hearing.

Specializes in SICU, MICU, CVICU.

I've heard from CRNA friends that Brigham and Womens is a great place for CRNA's --good group & environment.

Also Anaesthesia Associates of Massachusetts (AAM) is a good group to work for -- good benefits and largest group in MA --Treat CRNA's very well.

Good luck in your search! Boston is a fantastic place to live.
