CRNA University of Miami starting January 2019

Hello everyone,

I have started the application process for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at University of Miami that will start January 2019. It would be nice to know who else is applying to compare information, help one another, and start getting to know our classmates. Feel free to comment! :)

YES. I called yesterday and the coordinator confirmed they will still hold at least another round of interviews. They just don't have a date yet so are unable to contact applicants. She advised me to call back after June 12th. She reassured me that if I have not received a denial letter yet that I should be called for an interview. Their process induces so much anxiety. I call weekly. I am pretty sure she recognizes my voice by now.

Thank you so much for that update . I applied pretty late ( March 21) and has heard nothing so far . so hopefully there is some light with what you said !!I hope we get to know something by next week .

so another round of interviews seems pointless.

I spoke with UM today and they said they still plan on doing another round of interviews ??

Update: all 35 seats are filled. They are still interviewing for waitlist slots. I am disappointed that u was t given equal opportunity because I applied close to the deadline.

Well it is what it is....Barry University last choice available. My application was verified in 3/7/18 and no denial letter, was told application was under review last week and still no call yet for a waitlist interview..I guess...so idk ������

Interesting that they filled 35 spots...I thought it was only 30.

They increased their seats to 35 for this upcoming class.

Since they are still planning to hold another round of interviews, I wonder if they are telling folks up front that they are interviewing for the waiting list. this entire process with UM sounds like a huge headache. I don't think I would reapply with them if Barry doesn't work out.

Apply as early as possible. I had zero problems.
