  1. which school have you been accepted to so far? Barry also has rolling admission. I recieced an admission letter from Barry a week after applying.
  2. Apply as early as possible. I had zero problems.
  3. For this reason I gave them all fake due dates. I knew my concerns would not be a high priority for their day.
  4. Some of us need 8 years and some need just 18 months. If you keep your eyes on the prize anything is possible.
  5. I also hated working in the ICU and left as soon as I got into school. The only purpose of me being there was to get into school and once I accomplished that I was gone. The job of a bedside nurse is literally all the things no one else wants to do. I recommend feeling out who will write you an outstanding letter and knocking out any course you have to repeat.
  6. You guys still have hope. People do actually decline their offers.
  7. I have a separate degree in Biochemistry. I took them while obtaining that degree. You can sign up at FIU or FAU as a Non degree seeking graduate student and take those classes there.
  8. Getting a supervisor to write a reccomendation letter.
  9. I agree with you. I am not bashing USF. If it came down to it, I would be packing my bags and heading to Tampa. The program has a great reputation and lots to offer. I just felt more comfortable with choosing Miami. I encourage everyone to look at their current situation and make the best choice for them.
  10. Liberty city, Overtown, Little haiti, Richmond Heights, Goulds. Any of these neihborhoods offer reasonable rent and are close to campus.
  11. We dont want a quote. We want acceptance letters!
  12. I was accepted to UM, Barry, and USF. I decided to go with UM because I experienced the very things you wrote about while I was studying there for my BSN. When I intervied at these other programs they did not give me the reassurance that help would be there if I needed it. 3 years is a long time and I want feel secure that help is there if I need it.
  13. Why did you choose UM over FIU? I seen on the other thread that you were admitted there too.
  14. there is only 30 slots and I think they admit an equal amount of candidates per interview rounds. So everyone has an equal chance to get in.
