  1. Hi! I also applied. Has anyone else heard back yet?
  2. Thank you so much for all the input/advice, it really means a lot. I will take this advice to improve and make myself better. Anyway, good luck to the rest of you guys applying for Jefferson!
  3. Unfortunately, I didn't get offered an interview ? does anyone have any advice for someone trying to get into CRNA school with a low science/cumulative GPA? Science GPA: 3.26/Cumulative GPA: 3.41 I also have my CCRN, charge nurse, precept, on 2 unit base councils, volunteer, went on a mission trip and shadowed multiple anesthesiologists (we don't have CRNAs at my hospital). I feel like I am a pretty good applicant but my GPAs are holding me back. I emailed Jackie and she informed me that my GPAs aren't considered competitive. I just completed Organic Chemistry and Medical Biochemistry courses in order to help increase my GPAs but my cumulative one is so hard to improve. I know that this is my dream but I feel discouraged and don't know what to do. I took the advice from vitone215 and became a member of diversity in nurse anesthesia, which I will attend an info session. But any other advice would be so helpful and appreciated
  4. Yea I know Jeff doesn't take it but its just a shame because I feel like my gpa is weighing me down and taking the GRE might help me at least get into a program. Who knows... This whole process is so stressful ? Has anyone who applied in December heard back yet??
  5. TreeKitty congrats on your Penn invitation! Question for you, did you submit the GRE for some schools? I still have not heard back yet from Jefferson but if I don't get into school this year, taking the GRE might be the next step for me.
  6. I so feel your pain RNKaitie. I was denied last year at UMiami because I had a 3.37 GPA. They told me if I took one or two more courses it would help increase my GPA and show them I am determined. I took an organic chemistry and medical biochemistry course because CRNA schools typically suggest those courses. I raised my GPA up to 3.41 and science GPA to 3.26. Still not sure if it’s enough but I guess we will see. I just applied to Thomas Jefferson on the final priority date December 15th. Hopefully I’ll hear something! side note: thanks LouDogg reading your posts were very helpful and encouraging
  7. Hey everyone! Congrats on interviews. I just wanted to find out your stats that you guys have in order to land an interview like how long were you an ICU nurse, have CCRN, volunteer etc.. Also is there anyone from out of state?
