  1. Has anyone heard anything about admissions?
  2. I also got accepted. This was my first time applying to UofM, but my second year applying to CRNA schools. My stats overall included: 3.69 overall undergraduate GPA, 3.96 nursing specific courses GPA, undergraduate research experience, charge nurse experience, code blue team instructor experience, and CCRN and TNCC certified. My work experience includes working as a Medical/ Surgical ICU nurse and a Pediatric PACU nurse. What I feel helped me the most to get in was that I nailed the interview. I felt like my interview went really well. When I had talked to other CRNAs, they said the most important thing you could do to get in is nail the interview. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
  3. I was wondering if you had any updates as to when the admissions committee was going to send out letters of admission?
  4. Hey, If you don’t mind, ask the people who interview you when they’ll send admissions letters out and then let’s us know please.
  5. Did you just recently have a virtual interview? If so, when did you interview?
  6. I have not. Hopefully they let us know by next week.
  7. I have not received any updates. When I interviewed on March 5 the people interviewing me said they would send admission letters out in a month. Based on this time frame, we should hear something within the next two weeks. The wait is just killing me.
  8. If there is any advice I can give you is to know your area well because they are going to ask you clinical questions based on the unit you work in. And of course, they will also ask your generic interview questions.
  9. When I interviewed on the 5th they told me they would send out admissions notifications in a month.
  10. Based on the dates ******* gave me, the last day was on March 6th.
  11. I just received a call earlier today to interview and will be interviewing on March 5. There are still many dates open to interview so don't lose hope. Based on all the dates ******* gave me there are still 4 interview dates with multiple time slots available.
  12. That is a lot of applicants. Does anyone know how many applicants they interview?
  13. If I hear anything, I will definitely let all of you in this thread know. I am hoping we hear something pretty soon after the two week buffer period the University of Miami provides to all of their applicants after the application dead line.
  14. Hey everyone, I have started a thread for the 2021 CRNA cohort at the University of Miami. I could not seem to find one for this application cycle. I have just applied and am hoping I get an interview.
