  1. Hey Everyone! I have been working on this project to compile as much information as possible in regards to pay from all travel agencies/hospitals in order to identify pay discrepancies. Everything is verified to keep things accurate. The goal is to try to have real time numbers of what agencies are paying to create more transparency as well as help with negotiaions for equal rates. The more of us that sign up and use this, the quicker we can actually make use of this information and avoid shady recruiters! Please sign up to the link below to join our growing network https://tetrishealth.io Also, open to any constructive feedback for anything that y'all think can make this an even better tool!
  2. Thank you guys so much! Definitely feels so much better knowing I'm not in this alone. Was almost going to rethink this whole thing! Lol
  3. Thank you, def makes me feel a little better that it's just not me lol. Am I crazy though for planning on buying two investment properties before I start?! Lol
  4. Hey guys, would love input from current SRNAs and CRNAs. I was recently accepted into an anesthesia program and I'll be starting this may. As excited as I am, I'm also very nervous. I feel like I won't know much. I won't be able to pick up all of the material. I won't be able keep up with everyone. I've had great ICU experience but maybe it's not enough? Did you guys feel the same way? If so, did you do anything to prepare before starting? Does it all come back to you? Please, any input helps! This is something I've always wanted to do and I'm prepared to put in the hours but then also as I get closer to start date, I get more nervous and worry that I might be making the wrong move.
  5. Hello everyone, I submitted my application for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at the University of Miami that will start January 2020. It would be nice to know who else applied so we can update each other. Best of luck to everyone that applied! ?
  6. I found this on a post from the previous years, it'll help put things into perspective for anyone waiting on other schools but stuck between putting down a deposit or not. Good luck to everyone waitlisted! "I have been wait-listed at Columbia!!!! I have to admit you are my greatest fear ! The problem is if you pay your $500 and then do not accept--your seat will not be filled! I was told during the interview that they had less seats this year because they had more ETP students then usual and the director told me that what stinks is that if someone accepts and then doesn't attend--they cannot fill their seat. I live in NY and have a family, therefore, cannot travel far--I completely respect that you have been accepted--but please don't eliminate a seat for someone else!"
  7. So when they called on the 8th, they sent out all acceptances and now we're waiting to see if people rejected it? Or did they only send out some acceptances? I'm confused now lol
  8. Ahh ok, was away so I got scared if maybe I missed a call from them but this might be a little reassuring... If they're doing alphabetical and if I actually got in lol. Thanks!
  9. Also, if you got the call, did your application status change?
  10. For those accepted, mind letting us know what your last name starts with? Wanted to know if they're doing alphabetical. Thanks and congrats!
