CRNA University of Miami starting January 2019

Hello everyone,

I have started the application process for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at University of Miami that will start January 2019. It would be nice to know who else is applying to compare information, help one another, and start getting to know our classmates. Feel free to comment! :)

I agree with RNMAN. My stats should grant me an interview at all 3 schools... but since I applied late to UM.... Well. I missed out on equal opportunity apparently.

Barry, fiu, um. I got interviewed at fiu. Barry is just beginning to invite but I missed my UM opp.

The point I'm trying to make is applying early is ideal with these schools with rolling admissions.... some people have better luck that their applications were reached sooner. People were aceptare into UM before I even applied. Going forward.... if Barry doesn't fall through... i will be applying earlier to UM next year.

which school have you been accepted to so far? Barry also has rolling admission. I recieced an admission letter from Barry a week after applying.

For those accepted, do you have a certain timeframe/date to give your acceptance by?

I believe it is usually within 2 weeks. It should be in the acceptance email you received.

I was waitlisted. I am just hoping to not have to wait to hear anything until December on whether everyone has officially accepted or not.

Not sure.. maybe the program coordinator can give you a better idea. I would apply to other program either way.

Well I guess they are still interviewing

for waitlist spots. I received an email from UM on Thursday 7/12 inviting me for a waitlist interview...anyone else receive an invite?
